We're a ten minute walk from the lake that offers fishing, swimming, paddle boarding and boating during the summer. We are a 15 minute drive to Snow Valley, 25 min to Lake Arrowhead, 30 min to Big Bear. Three smart Roku TV's. One on each level. Bring your Netflix, Amazon, Spotify, or Paramount login info. There is also a Wii with 2 controllers and games upstairs. This is an inclusive place (race, gender, religion, sexual orientation). Please note that Airbnb doesn't count children 2 and under toward that 8 max, but San Bernardino County does. We LOVE little ones, but can't accommodate more than 8 humans total, no matter the age. The hills have eyes...and so do our neighbors, so please save us all some trouble by not attempting to sneak anything past us. The front door with the keypad is located on the main (deck) level up the first flight of stairs. During the Winter months: Each year is different, but snow season can be from November to April. When rainy, icy, or snowy conditions exist, all decks, stairs, walkways, and roads can be slippery. Please exercise caution while walking or driving under these conditions. They frequently plow Green Valley Road road and chains are mandatory for driving in these conditions. Four wheel drive is recommended. During severe winter storms, there can be downed tree limbs, road closures, and power outages. Be aware that it can be difficult for workers to restore power, clear roads, or reach the cabin for repairs. It is also beyond our control if the power company preemptively turns off the electricity when there's a high risk of forest fire. If you choose to book a stay during the snowy months, get your adventurous spirit ready. We provide flashlights at the house in the event of a power outage. We will salt and plow the driveway before your arrival, if needed. You will be responsible for clearing the snow and ice from the steps and around your cars during your stay with a provided snow shovel. The driveway fits 2 cars during snow season. If you get snowed in, we provide several contacts for local plowers that you can hire at your discretion. Monitor weather conditions closely when planning a visit to our cabin during the winter, and make sure you are equipped to both reach and leave the cabin safely within the established check-in and check-out times.
