The space This master bedroom is nicely sized for two people (12'x16'). You'll also have access to the kitchen, living room and dining room. The house is shared with the host and possibly 1 or 2 other Airbnb guests. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A QUIET HOUSE: Quiet hours are pretty strict here. If you're planning on staying up past midnight or having loud sex in the middle of the night, then this is not the right place for you. You'll enjoy: - Private, attached bathroom - Private entrance from the street to your room (please ask your host if you want to use the private entrance, otherwise you'll enter through the front door) - Top-quality, king-size bed. - Comfy chairs - A big closet - A good sized desk - The sunny side of town - Soap, towels, and any travel amenities you might need, and more. - A quiet neighborhood with almost no foot traffic and lots of parking. - Self check-in...come and go as you please. - Kitchen - Big living room with comfy couches and TV. In the garden courtyard enjoy: - A small, hot tub. Always hot. - Outdoor lounge chairs with cushions for soaking in the sun - An outdoor picnic table. - The backyard is shared with the host, but the host will generally give you privacy and you can always ask the host to make sure that you get privacy while you're using the hot tub. Other conveniences: - Cleaned to the highest standard. - Easy parking - Minutes to food or anywhere via car - Endless hot water - Robes HOUSE RULES - Check-in: after 3:00 PM - Checkout: before 11:00 AM - Not suitable for children or infants - No smoking - No pets - 2 guests maximum. No additional people on the property at any time without written permission. - Provide your guest's full name as on their ID. - No noise loud enough to disturb the other residents at anytime. Keep voices and music down. - Treat the place as if you were in your own home. Put all trash into a container. - Clean up after yourself. Wash your dishes. - No commercial use, leaving anything smelly, or firearms. - No obvious intoxication. - Jump into the hot tub rules provided in the room. - Read the house manual after you reserve to ensure you'll be happy here. - Your Airbnb profile must have a clear face picture and full name as it appears on your ID. - Fees may be applied for damage or unusual cleaning at the discretion of the host. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE THIS IS A PRIVATE ROOM IN A SHARED HOUSE. - The room is in a house where your host lives and may have other Airbnb guests in it, but most likely you won't notice anyone else is here. - The kitchen and living room are shared. - While the patio and hot tub are shared with the host, your host won't enter without alerting you ahead of time, and you can always ask for private time. PARKING -There's almost always street parking right outside, but if you have trouble parking close by, call me 24/7, and I'll try to help you get a spot nearby. - Don't leave anything visible or valuable in your car, anywhere in SF. QUIET HOURS: -Sun-Thurs 9pm-8am, Fri-Sat 11pm-9am: please keep noise quiet enough that you don't disturb the other residents who may be sleeping. - If you're being disturbed by noise coming from elsewhere in the house during quiet hours, please alert your host immediately. - This is a quiet house, please don't pick this place if you're partying or aren't familiar with how to keep your noise at a minimum while other people are sleeping. -This is probably not the right place for you if you plan on being up past midnight. COOKING AND EATING: You may use the kitchen. However, you must clean up all crumbs, wash your dishes (or put them in the dishwasher), and put all waste in plastic trash bags, or friendly ants will come in. NO TV IN THE ROOM. There is a TV in the shared living room. IF YOU WANT EARLY CHECK IN: Check-in is 3pm. Early check-in can't be guaranteed. On the day of your arrival I can tell you if you can check in early and at what time. You can drop your bags off anytime, but you can't access the room before it's ready, there's no waiting area, and no restroom to use. Sorry. Please coordinate luggage drop-off ahead of time with me. LATE CHECKOUT: Please make every effort to checkout on time. Please contact your host immediately if you can't checkout on time. Late checkout is typically not available. After checkout time, if you are not making a sincere effort to checkout, the host reserves the right to enter, pack and store your belongings, and change the locks. 2 GUESTS MAXIMUM, NO OTHER GUESTS at anytime. HILL: You'll be on a fairly steep hill (in case you have mobility issues). PRIVACY: Your host will alert you before entering the backyard. Your patio has a door from the host's quarters that opens on to it, but it will remain covered and no one should come out or look out without warning your first. IT'S A HEALTHY WALK to places such as McLaren Park and the shops on San Bruno Ave. Usually you'll want to take a quick car ride. Uber car service is cheap and fast here. THERE IS NO A/C, but it's typically not needed here. A fan is provided. IF DAY DRINKING, CONTINUOUS LOUD MUSIC, OR LATE NIGHT PARTYING are part of your planned activities here, then this is not the right place for you. EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS are welcome here. I just require that you provide a signed letter from your doctor or healthcare professional, on their letterhead, that says an ESA was prescribed for a disability, dated within the last year. Guest access You can access the room via the front door, or access your room directly by entering the backyard from the street and then going to the door to your room. During your stay It's important that you follow the check-in guide and house manual, since the host may not be available. Other things to note Don't suffer!
