Welcome to Tucked in the Woods We’re glad you found us. Our goal is to provide you relaxation—a place to unwind, re-connect with friends and family and disconnect from the busyness of life. Our home is designed for comfort and room to spread out. The space Upon arrival to Tucked in the Woods you will be welcomed by a rocking chair front porch where you can enjoy a cup of coffee, reading a book on the porch swing or just taking in the beauty of the natural surroundings. It is not uncommon to see a family of deer grazing as they are plentiful in Redbud. The first floor is an open concept including the kitchen, dining area and family room. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, one with a king size bed and full bathroom and the other with a queen size bed and another full bath across the hall. The lower level is a walkout basement. This large area consists of a sectional with a queen sleeper, a checker table, bar area, laundry room and another king size bedroom with full bath. All three bedrooms have large smart Roku TVs. The lower walk out level has a very spacious patio with firepit. There is additional outdoor space(decks) off the main floor kitchen and main floor master bedroom. Guest access You will need a car to get around. Other things to note Probably what we love the most about our house is it’s privacy yet access to so much. We are 7 miles from downtown Pittsboro with its burgeoning art scene and quality shops and restaurants, 15 minutes to Chapel Hill and UNC, 30 minutes from Raleigh, Durham and RDU and 2 miles from Jordan Lake State Park which offers hiking trails, boating, boat rentals or chartered tours and beaches. If you like hiking we also have an ideal neighborhood for walking and exploring.
