Astral Acres is an ideal location for vacations, ceremonies, weddings, & events in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area! Located in Corbett, 45 minutes from Portland & airport; surrounded by astounding natural beauty, sandwiched between 3 state parks and 3 summer camps! Take a 30 minute drive to see the world famous 600 foot Multnomah Falls! There are countless spectacular waterfalls & vistas nearby as well as awesome waterfall hikes and river beaches! The space Good people of all orientations are welcome here! Please send an inquiry with the specifics of your event and we can discuss how to accommodate your vision! Astral Acres is in a private location at the end of the road, with a beautiful two acre yard, three acres of woods with trails, and outstanding star gazing on clear nights! Your host Todji is a micro-famous artist and nine year experienced superhost/premier host with his other artistic short term rental house and former sculpture studio in Portland, OR. His current sculpture studio is 100' feet from the house, across the parking lot, and he will be staying in his studio during your visit. Todji is available to assist during your stay, and to respect privacy. Astral Acres is available for all sized events and weddings up to125 people, with parking for 35 cars, depending on weather. The house sleeps 11 to 13, the Lotus Belle Tent sleeps 2 to 4, and tent camping for approx 50 people is available. Families welcome! Pricing per event varies depending on the kind of event and the impact. For example, the price for a family vacation rental is not the same price as a wedding because the impact of a wedding is greater. Please message me with information about your event so we can arrive at a fair price and support your vision. During summer and fall a 13’ Lotus Belle Tent is available for $100 a night with a two night minimum, when rented in conjunction with the entire house; see photos. Tent camping for additional guests is available for an additional charge of $30 per person per night. We list a "Hot Tub for 1 Person" on this website. There are 2 indoor bath tubs for 1 person. We are in the process of getting a hot tub and we do not have an installation date set yet, but aiming for summer 2024. If you are planning a celebratory event, that is great! If your celebration entails healthy amounts of anything healthy, then that is welcome. If your celebration entails large amounts of alcohol, please book elsewhere. Celebrations that respect our neighbors, your host, the land, and the house are welcome and this a great place to celebrate! There are no longer cats living here. My girlfriend has a dog who gets along well with other dogs, but can be skittish around people. My monumental sculptures are in the backyard and my smaller sculptures are in the house for everyone's enjoyment. Please feel free with questions and I hope to host your event! Guest access The parking lot in front of the house are shared space with myself, my guests, and maintenance workers. I maintain access to the backyard during your stay for practical reasons such as watering plants or using the BBQ.
