We look forward to hosting you. The space Welcome to your peaceful getaway in a beautifully crafted 620 sq. ft. shipping container home, thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. You’ll be staying in the lower-level apartment of this unique two-story home, located on a serene 13-acre property in Gardiner, WA. The container guest homes share the land with the owners and a close friend who also serves as the property caretaker. Between the main home and the guest home, there’s a seasonal pool available for use—with a signed liability waiver. Please note that pool access is not guaranteed, so if it's an important part of your stay, we kindly ask that you check with us before booking. Inside, the 1-bedroom unit features a queen-sized bed, dresser, and custom desk and closet built-in for easy storage. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, convection stovetop, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, and dishwasher—everything you need to enjoy meals at the cozy dining table that seats 2–4 guests. For your entertainment, there are two smart TVs (Roku and Amazon Fire compatible), with access to a variety of streaming apps using our login credentials or your own. A washer/dryer combo is also available for your convenience. Step outside to enjoy three separate outdoor areas: a covered patio, a wood deck with dining table, and a concrete pad with chairs to soak in the fresh country air. We also provide a charcoal Weber BBQ, along with all the grilling essentials (just bring the food!). A small fire pit is available upon request—with firewood provided for one evening's fire. Please note that due to seasonal burn bans (typically July–October), fire pit use may be restricted during those months. To make your stay even more special, we include a complimentary welcome basket with snacks, bottled water, and your choice of wine, champagne, or sparkling cider. Other things to note Dogs are welcome (2 pet limit) A pet fee payment request will be sent after booking. $20 a night pet fee. If you stay more than 3 or more nights it will be $50 maximum. We ask that if you have a pet who sheds a lot please try and bring blankets to cover the furniture if your pets like to lay on the couch. If you are not able to bring your own blankets please let us know and we would be happy to provide some for you. If you need to charge your car there will be a $15 a day fee. Please let us know if you need to do so. The outside plugs were not designed for car charging and can trip the electrical fuses. FUN STUFF FOR YOU *We have yoga mats to use if you would like to borrow them during your stay. *Golf clubs can also be borrowed if you need. *We have a telescope you can use. Please let us know and we will have it set up for you. *We can set up and provide materials for a paint night. We will provide paint, brushes, pallets, canvas and easels for you to use. Take your canvas with you as a reminder of your stay at our shipping container home. Cost is $25 a person.
