Second Master Bedroom - Modern contemporary-themed, Queen-sized pillow-top mattress. Cinderella's Courtyard - Princess-themed room with two Disney Princess Fairytale twin beds and a reading nook. Spiderman's Roof Top - Navy-blue bunk beds with a Spider-Man themed bedroom and a reading nook. Pool, Spa, and Screened-in Patio: Enjoy the year-round pool and spa, complimentary pool heat, and a spacious screened-in patio with seating and outdoor fans. Living Room and Dining Room: Cozy living area with a 55" Vizio SmartTV and a large counter-height dining table for family meals. Dedicated workstation for remote work or summer assignments. Smoke detectors for peace of mind. Guest Access: Our gated community provides on-staff security for your safety. You'll receive a gate pass for easy access and can enjoy all the complimentary amenities. Other Things to Note: Pool heater operates for 18 hours per day (November - February). Guests can use the jacuzzi at the clubhouse during colder months. Guest access The Community is a gated community with on staff security guards who provide continuous security for the safety of the guests during their stay. When you arrive to the neighborhood, you will be required to show your proof of reservation and provide a valid driver's license for entry into the neighborhood. Emerald Island Resort requires all guests to check in at the front desk to register their vehicles and get a "gate pass". The cost of the gate pass is $20.00. The community requires guests to use this pass for the front gate to allow checked in guests to use the right side "fast lane" for quicker access to the property. All pool and amenities areas are free for guests and do not require any access passes. Once you are checked in, you are free to use all the complimentary amenities throughout the community. Other things to note Pool Heat is included in the nightly price! The pool has a safety gate that is secured and regularly inspected. Traveling during the colder months (November - February) The pool heater is set to run for 18 hours per day for your comfort. However, if the ambient temperature around the heater itself does not exceed 55 degrees the built in safety device will prevent it from actually turning on. Once that temp exceeds 55 degrees it will start running but will only run until the temperature drops again. This may not be long enough for the pool to achieve the desired 88 to 90 degrees it is set for. If it is unseasonably cold, electric pool heaters sadly do not heat up pools like a jacuzzi or a home water heater. If the electric heater is unable to stay on due to the safety feature, the pool and spa may not heat up to the desired temperature. We always recommend utilizing the amazing amenities at the clubhouse, including a jacuzzi. These amenities are free for all guests and may be able to offer a heated pool/hot tub during the colder months.
