Ideally located on the edge of the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park, this 18th century mansion is an idyllic setting for family getaways. Accommodating four couples with children without ever stepping on each other's toes, the house is full of convivial spaces for cooking, playing, reading, relaxing and disconnecting. With a large garden of 1,000 m², a billiard and darts area, an XXL trampoline and bikes, it is the ideal base camp for your nature hikes. The space What if your next weekend were like this one? Friday evening. Cars drive through the gate one by one. The first to arrive settle in around the large table while the children already dash off to explore the garden and the barn. The suitcases can wait a few minutes. But reunions can’t wait. Saturday morning. The house slowly comes to life. Some enjoy their coffee in the garden, while others prepare a leisurely breakfast. Here, no one watches the clock. The kids switch from ping-pong to Molkky, while the older ones are already organizing the afternoon game of pétanque. After a walk in the Alpes Mancelles or a trip to Bagnoles-de-l’Orne, everyone gathers for a hearty lunch. Conversations flow, generations mingle, and everyone enjoys the weekend at their own pace. The more athletic ones break out the pétanque balls, darts, or the pool table. Others simply prefer to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. As night falls, the string lights come on in the garden. Glasses clink, dinner drags on, the children are still playing outside while the adults put the world to rights under the stars. It’s often these evenings that we remember the longest. Sunday always comes around too soon. One last cup of coffee, a family photo in front of the house, a few promises to return… Then everyone hits the road again with the feeling that they’ve truly shared time together. At Le Logis de Vaux, we simply hope to offer you a place where these moments can happen naturally. ***** Large family home featuring 4 bedrooms with double beds and two dormitories—one with 5 single beds and the other with two double beds and two single beds. The house features a living room, a dining room that can seat 16 people, a large kitchen, and a billiards and darts room. The garden spans 1,000 m²; a ping-pong table, bicycles, a game of molky, a set of pétanque, and a trampoline are available in the barn, so you can enjoy them even when it’s raining. Other things to note A bed linen/towel package is available for 10€/bed. The mandatory cleaning fee is 100€ to be given to the person who will give you the keys. The fireplaces are currently out of order and should not be lit under any circumstances.
