Our coastal home located in the private family friendly community of Ocean Sands sits in the heart of Corolla just minutes from the area’s best attractions. Whether you are enjoying the beach, visiting local attractions, or discovering new fishing holes our cozy home is where you want to be. Like many coastal homes in OBX, Salty Dogs features a reverse floor plan with the main living spaces on the top floor. This provides plenty of natural light and views of the ocean to the living room, dining room! The top level also features a half bath and a screened in portion of deck with a picnic bench to enjoy your meals or family time outside. The mid level of our home features the four bedrooms and two main baths. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to the deck where the pool and hot tub are located! The ground level features a car port, access to the laundry facilities, outdoor shower, grill area as well as access to the pool deck. Our home is furnished with many modern amenities such as flat screen tv’s, access to Wi-Fi and streaming services, a large collection of DVDs, VHS, video games and books as well as a variety of beach gear to enjoy your time. We are also a minute walk to the Corolla Greenway that is the perfect pedestrian path to enjoy family walks or bicycle rides while enjoying the Outer banks scenery. Our portion of the Ocean sands community is right across from grocery, clothing, and dining options however there are several areas to explore along the NC 12. Please don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations! Off-Street parking available for 3 cars at the home. Bike routes are all over Corolla. The Salty Dogs beach house is not for parties or events out of respect for the residential community. Guests are limited to the people staying there. We have a minimum 7 day stay. Linens are included . We allow a maximum of two dogs per stay and for liability and cleaning reasons we charge an additional pet fee of $250. We know accidents happen please notify right a way so we can take appropriate steps. We also have carpet shampooer at the house for minor accidents.
