Light and airy ground floor apartment set within a beautiful 1900's building with large garden. The garden boasts stunning views of the sea and the surrounding beautiful South Devon coastline including the majestic and ancient Thurlestone Rock, nearby Burgh Island (Agatha Christie's inspirational location for her novel 'Evil Under The Sun'), and the fabulous golden sands of Bantham Beach ever popular with families and surfers alike. 9 The Downs is the perfect peaceful spot to relax by the coast. The space The property is a newly modernised 2 bedroom ground floor apartment in an extension to a building dating back to 1907 which sits at the top of Thurlestone with commanding views of sea and countryside. The apartment has its own entrance, accessible via a key lock and consists of hall, kitchen/sitting room, 2 bedrooms one a double and the other with a pair of adult bunks and bathroom with bath and shower. The apartment is light and airy and has good quality furniture and carpets as well as a nice selection of art work on the walls. There is broadband and a tv plus dvd player, together with a good selection of dvds. There is central heating. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine in the well equipped kitchen. The apartment is within walking distance of many splendid beaches suitable for swimming, surfing, and walking. A local pub and village store are within easy walking distance. There are many other eateries including the Beach cafe which are also within walking distance. The coastal path and Thurlestone golf course are both directly accessible from the apartment. Arrival property access info ******************************** The entrance door to number 9 is around the left side of the building (see listing photo), there you will find a courtyard and no.9's door is straight ahead in the far corner.
