Lodge - Double Queen Room -Longs Peak View

Our double queen lodge room is located inside one of the largest log lodge buildings in the west. It’s a grand rustic lodge with impressive lobby with large views in all directions. Each room contains a full private bath, desk and chair. There is plenty to do so you won't even miss the TV. We do have free Wi-Fi for our guests - no password needed. The space We are a classic, rustic, rural mountain property. We are sitting on 80 acres of private property about 7 miles from Estes Park at 9000 feet. We have indescribable views, it is very quiet here. It is entirely likely you will see wildlife, and you don’t have to leave the property to hike, bike, run or commune with nature. Guest access While we are a full-service lodge area we have Social Distancing guidelines in place. Our common areas will be closed. The front desk will be open from 9:00 am to 7:00pm. Other things to note Life is different at 9000 feet above sea level it can be quite an adventure: Please note that we are a Rustic Mountain Lodge and not a private home. You are requesting to rent one of our cozy Lodge rooms. It is a great place to rest your head after a day of hiking and exploring Dao House's 80 plus acres of private land. The room is basic and does not have the extra amenities you may be accustomed to in a larger Hotel or a private home. ~We are just off Highway 7. The main roads leading up to Dao House do get attention when the snow falls and we do our best to keep our property shoveled and plowed. Some of our travelers have had difficulty getting up our drive when we are available we can help. We do recommend that you have an All-Wheel or 4WD vehicle during the winter months. ~We are at 9200 feet and there is no Cell Coverage. No known cell service works consistently on our property. Our land lines are available for you to use and we recommend you contact your provider before your trip. ~While we are a full service lodge the cleaning fee is to ensure your space is clean for your visit, during this time we do not provide daily cleanings. We can provide you with clean linens throughout your stay. Just call the front desk and we will get you what you need. ~The temperature can swing more than 20 degrees a day. The sun can be quite warm, and at night it can be chilly. The boiler heat usually keeps up with the mountain wind, if you find your accommodations are chilly, let us know, we have heaters we are happy to bring to you. ~Staffing at the top of the world is our biggest challenge; we run a very streamlined team. It is our pleasure to help with any reasonable request. We are here to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We enjoy meeting our guests and sharing with them our beautiful views and unique experience. Dao House is one of a kind and well worth the visit.
