The lounge and dining room share a cosy double fronted wood burning stove and stunning feature stone fireplace. There is a dining table that easily seats 8, and the country style kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for dining at home. Includes a rangemaster oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, De'Longhi coffee machine (takes e.s.e. pods) and American style fridge freezer with filtered water & ice machine. There is also a downstairs cloakroom. FIRST FLOOR: On this floor there is the master bedroom with Superking bed. It has a stunning en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and luxurious freestanding slipper bath. Opposite the master is another bedroom with two single beds, and an en-suite shower room. SECOND FLOOR: As you climb the second set of stairs, you arrive at a viewing area with full height vaulted window. From here you can enjoy views of the surrounding countryside and glorious Cornish sunsets. On one side of the landing, there is a bedroom with a Kingsize bed, exposed beams and full height ceiling. It has an en-suite shower room. To the opposite side of the landing there is a bedroom with two single beds. This room also has exposed beams, full height ceilings and a stunning window sill made form local Delabole slate. This room also has an en-suite shower room. OUTSIDE: The large private driveway can accommodate 3 cars. The enclosed garden has a private South facing patio, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing on the sun loungers. The lawn gently falls away to the fields beyond and is the perfect spot in the warm Cornish evenings. There is also a charcoal BBQ, fire-pit, outdoor furniture with cushions and umbrella. There is an outdoor tap to wash off your wetsuits, and an outbuilding with washing machine, tumble dryer and room to securely store bikes, golf clubs or surf boards away. Please note that our minimum stay is 3 nights. In peak weeks, our minimum stay is 7 nights and the changeover day is on Friday. Guest access Guests have access to all parts of the house and garden. We have a small annex in a separate part of the garden, so you may see us passing through on changeover days. Other things to note General: Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided (1 x Bath & 1 x Hand per guest). Please bring your own beach towels. We provide hand-soap and household cleaning products, but please bring your own shower gel and shampoo. We have 2 hairdryers in the cottage for guests to use. There is superfast Wi-Fi in every room and a Smart TV in lounge and main bedroom. We have a double fronted woodburner in lounge and dining room (a basket of logs included in the rental - more available on request). Nearby: Padstow 2 miles, Trevone Beach 3 miles, Hawkers Cove 3 miles, Harlyn Beach 4 miles, Constantine Beach 5 miles. Transport: There is a bus stop right outside the cottage, with regular buses to Padstow, Wadebridge and Bodmin Parkway train station. There is also a traffic-free walking route to Padstow along Little Petherick Creek (please ask for more details). Golf: Trevose 5 miles, Treloy 11 miles, St Enodoc 12 miles Food: Rick Steins and Paul Ainsworth Padstow 3 miles, Prawn on the Farm 3 miles, Pickwick Inn 2 miles, Malcolm Barnecutts in St Merryn 4 miles (great bakery), Cornish Arms 4 miles Nearest supermarket: Medium size Tesco 2 miles, Large Tesco, Aldi & Lidl all 4 miles. Supermarkets deliver to the Cottage including Waitrose and Sainsburys. Pets: Up to 3 well behaved dogs are allowed. Please no dogs in the bedrooms and please don't leave them unattended in the house. I can recommend a really great dog sitter who can come to the cottage and look after your dog.
