Entry through the front door (with key code) leads to the lower level which includes a main suite (king bed, smart tv, walk in closet) with private full bathroom, movie theatre, entertainment room (smart tv, foosball, air hockey, wet bar, minifridge), laundry room, and doors leading to an immense outside deck with picnic table and outdoor seating. Heading up via one of two staircases is the main level this is a large living space (smart tv, game table, sectional sofa) leading to a private screened-in porch (rocking chairs, table with chairs) with a beautiful lake view. On this main level, there is also a dining area, breakfast nook, and full kitchen with access to propane grill. Down the hallway there is an additional main suite (king bed, walk-in closet) with an exquisite private bathroom (large shower, separate bathtub). Directly across the hall is a kid's bedroom (half bath) with two bunkbeds (plus additional trundle beds), desk, and walk-in closet. This main level also includes an additional full bathroom and sitting room with a twin bed, trundle bed, glider, and pack n play (in closet) Lake access is a short walk down from the spacious deck off of the lower floor with a few landings along the way. A large backyard is perfect for provided games such as ladder ball or cornhole. A private covered boathouse (chairs provided) is accessible from the backyard and has a swim ladder. Feel free to pull your boat up next to the boathouse, however, use of the boatlift is not included in the rental. For family members wanting to get out on the boat but have difficulty with stairs, Lakeside Marina is a quick 5 minute drive where they can be picked up. Guest access Driveway parking can fit 3-4 cars. Street parking is available but please do not park on grass. Other things to note Lake Hickory, situated just north of Lake Norman, is a perfect lake to enjoy a relaxing lake atmosphere while taking advantage of all the activity associated with having fun on the water. Less busy than nearby lakes, Lake Hickory provides access to close by dining, shopping, and outdoor adventures. Our home is situated in a private and quiet culd e sac with only a 5 minute drive to Lakeside Marina and less than 10 minute drive to local fine dining and shopping. For day trips, numerous destinations are within a one-hour drive including the mountain towns of Blowing Rock or Boone or the large metropolitan city of Charlotte. Asheville (a key destinate for art, dining, outdoor fun) is only 1.5 hour away.
