Casselman Cabin Retreat is a completely remodeled cabin overlooking the Casselman River. Our riverfront property with upper and lower wrap around decks offer beautiful views. Our clean and well-equipped home is situated in the Laurel Highlands Mountains and is minutes away from the quaint little town of Confluence. CCR is also only one mile away from the Great Allegheny Passageway Bike Trail. CCR is cozy enough for a romantic getaway but also offers an open spacious floor plan for groups. The cabin will a accommodate 15 people comfortably with 5 bedrooms, futon, sofa, two full bathrooms and a small office area. Our kitchen is a delight to cook in and you can do so while spending time with loved ones sitting at the kitchen island or nearby dining room table. The home also includes propane and electric fireplaces to snuggle up to. While staying at Casselman Cabin Retreat , you will have private access to the entire home, front porch, side upper and lower decks, patio, and shaded back yard which is also fenced in for your children or fur baby! I will respond promptly to offer help and answer any questions you may have. Casselman Cabin Retreat is on a mostly dirt road with several homes along the way. The backyard provides a private area with a river view. My favorite spot is on the front porch swing. It isn’t as private because you can see a couple neighbors and a farm, but I always enjoyed watching the cows graze and especially liked seeing the calves, piglets and baby goats. The parking lot to the cabin is spacious enough to easily fit 6-8 vehicles. The best place for a little R&R is in our well shaded back yard that has an open view to the Casselman River. Our propane gas grill is perfect for an outdoor dinner with a relaxing glass of wine or cup of coffee afterwards. Also enjoy making mountain pies or roasting marshmallows at the campfire with comfortable seating. Cornhole games, tossing a football or shooting some hoops on our small concrete court is always a great time. CCR is also pet friendly (fees will apply) therefore, our completely fenced in back yard creates a spacious, safe area.
