There is a large loft (with two twin beds for kids). Relax on the deck and watch the lightning bugs and humming birds with the mountains as a backdrop, simply beautiful! Take a stroll and enjoy beautiful views from the private 1 mile neighborhood walking loop. Enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table. Roast some marshmallows with friends by the firepit or mosey down to the relaxing stream just steps from the home. Wild Peace provides comfortable upstairs and downstairs living room and entertainment space. Downstairs living area has a large sectional to stretch out on and a large flatscreen TV with Roku. Local attractions near Wild Peace include Cataloochee Ski area, Cataloochee Valley, downtown Waynesville with many restaurants, shops, and breweries to choose from, Maggie Valley shops and restaurants. Great Smoky Mountains National Park, The Blue Ridge Parkway, and Asheville is about a 35 minute drive. We Strongly recommend our guests come prepared for inclement weather. Often mountain roads can become impassable from heavy snowfall. We encourage our guests to be prepared with extra supplies such as food/beverages etc. We do recommend 4WD or AWD for most properties. Do not attempt to maneuver around mountain roads if you are not familiar with how to operate a vehicle in the snow or a vehicle with tire chains in the snow.
