Welcome to our home on Lake Shangri-La. Our home offers stunning lake views throughout the house. The house is a beautiful 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom ranch property with nearly 200+ feet of lake frontage and a private pier. Our four-season room allows you to enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets, all from the hot tub or while enjoying a game of pool. Then you can step outside to easily access your private pier, perfect for swimming, fishing, or boating in the two provided kayaks! The space Recently renovated, this beautiful lakefront house has outstanding lake views and wonderful amenities. Enjoy your morning coffee with a beautiful sunrise from our private deck right on the water or within the four-season room. Kitchen and Dining Area: The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances and new kitchen tools & accessories. The dining area has a large table that seats 6. It is a great place to enjoy meals together. Additional seating can be found throughout the home. Bedrooms: - 1st Bedroom: This bedroom contains a king size memory foam bed, a desk for remote work, and a large window with limited lake views and blackout curtains. This room also has a 55" smart TV, extra outlets, a dresser, and 2 closets with hangers. - 2nd Bedroom: This bedroom contains a king size Tuft & Needle mattress and gorgeous views of the lake through the sliding doors. The room is equipped with a with a 43" smart TV, extra outlets, a dresser, a closet with hangers, and blackout curtains. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a connecting bathroom. - 3rd Bedroom: This bedroom contains a queen size Tuft & Needle mattress and a 43" smart TV. This room also has a dresser, a large closet with hangers, extra outlets, and blackout curtains. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a connecting bathroom. Bathrooms: - 1st Bathroom: This bathroom is accessible from the main living area. It is a full bathroom with a bathtub and a shower head and extra toiletries for your convenience. - 2nd Bathroom: This bathroom is accessible through bedrooms 2 and 3. It is a full bathroom with a bathtub and a shower head and extra toiletries for your convenience. Living Room and Sitting Areas: The living room offers a number of windows overlooking the lake, a 43" extendable smart TV, and a large sectional that fits plenty. Just off of this room, you will find a small sitting area with a table and chairs, perfect for playing board games or doing puzzles! We have provided a number of books, puzzles, and games for your entertainment including Monopoly, Battleship, Connect 4, Stratego, Jenga, Ticket to Ride, Codenames, Sushi Go Party, and more! 4-Season Sunroom: Our sunroom offers incredible views of Lake Shangri-La from the comfort of our home. We have a small sitting area to enjoy breakfast or coffee, a newly refinished pool table, an indoor hot tub that fits 3 people comfortably, and a 55" extendable smart TV that you can view while in the hot tub. Private Pier: Our private pier offers up-close views of the lake. Two benches provide plenty of space for family or friends to relax. Please use one of the two provided kayaks and enjoy the lake! You can also go swimming, fishing, or birdwatching. Feel free to bring your own boat. Small boats can be launched from the property and larger boats can be launched nearby! Our patio has an outdoor dining table and chairs and other seating. There is also a large lawn for outdoor games and activities. Location: - We are located right on the Illinois / Wisconsin border. - We are approximately 7 minutes away from downtown Antioch. - We are approximately 8 minutes away from Ziplining in Kenosha - We are approximately 10 minutes away from the Bristol Renaissance Faire - We are approximately 15 minutes away from the Wilmot Moutain Ski Resort - We are approximately 13 minutes away from Pleasant Prarie Outlets - We are approximately 20 minutes away from Gurnee Mills - We are approximately 20 minutes away from Six Flags - We are approximately 45 minutes away from Milwaukee (45 miles) - We are approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from Chicago (60 miles) Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house and private pier. There is a small building that is in the backyard that is currently unavailable. Other things to note Our lake home has quarterly pest control service as well as ad-hoc servicing. However, given that we are very close to water, our home may still attract unwelcome pests. Our home’s water comes from a well. We periodically test for bacteria which have always returned negative (last tested in 2023). For your convenience, we also have included a water filter dispenser.
