The Jura House 1540 - Vacation in the Monument

Welcome to our Jurahouse in Pförring! Regardless of whether you take a hike in nature or a bike tour on the Danube, in the Jura House you have the opportunity to find relaxation and peace. The Jurahouse is a listed monumental building from the 16th century. Most of the Jurahouse is still original and was renovated between 2019 and 2021 according to monument guidelines. The space We are already maintaining this cultural heritage in the 6th generation. Between 2019 and 2022 we renovated the house with a lot of heart and soul and brought it up to date technically. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a wood pellet stove. - Room 1: 1 double room with bed size 2m x 2m - Room 2: 1 single room with bed size 1.20m x 2m - Room 3: 1 double room with bed size 2m x 2m - Room 4: 1 gallery room with bed size 2m x 2m, additional sofa bed with sink and toilet in the room - 2 bathrooms with shower and bath facilities on the ground floor and first floor - A fully equipped kitchen with integrated electric oven and wood stove. - A living room with pellet stove and 32 inch HD TV -> All rooms can be heated separately - Separate garden with lawn, seating and charcoal grill - Free parking on and off the property - Charging station for electric vehicles - WiFi is available throughout the house The Jurahaus has survived two world wars, numerous pandemics, economic and political crises and therefore serves as a place that combines tradition with modernity. Guest access The on-site parking space and the parking spaces in front of the accommodation enable you to have a stress-free journey. Your luggage can be brought into the house in just a few steps. In the fish farm 500 meters away, you can get the best fresh and smoked freshwater fish in the area. With a nice walk you can buy seasonal, home-grown fruit and vegetables from the local farm shop. In summer we recommend that you pick strawberries and cherries by yourself. The nearest train stations are 6 km away in Neustadt an der Donau and Münchsmünster. Other things to note Pförring is located on the edge of the nature park Altmühltal on the Danube, 20 km away from Ingolstadt, 50 km from Regensburg and 80 km from Munich. With a nice day trip, you can visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Danube Limes, which was awarded in 2021. Weltenburg Abbey and the Danube Gorge near Kelheim are 20 km from Pförring. Ingolstadt Village is also only 20 km away.
