The Maverick is secluded yet just 5 minutes from downtown Woodstock as well as beautiful hiking, running, and biking trails. The home is perfectly set up for indoor | outdoor entertainment & dining. The space The Maverick’s picturesque windows and 7 generous skylights welcomes in the warm ambient light and surrounding nature, enticing you out onto the huge wrap around deck, perfect for entertaining. A gorgeous mid-century chiminea centerpiece is the place to be on those brisk nights, marshmallows on sticks or cocktail in hand; there is no wrong way to luxuriate by the fire or in our NEW 7 person luxury spa HOT TUB. Back inside the sexy & stylish decor will woo you into its cozy corners where you can catch up on our your reading for a spell or two. There are two generously sized bedrooms and two spa-like bathrooms for guests to relax and recharge. The living room is appointed with a gorgeous Preway fireplace, custom L shaped comfy pullout couch and original mid-century furnishings, there is no doubt that you will fall in love with this handsome space. You are welcome to hike the forest via the yellow striped road just stay to the right at the top of the hill away. Please note, the home was built in 1964 and is grandfathered in by code as such is not required to be compliant with the modern ADA standards. The home is located on a mountain and in a Forrest so the terrain cannot accommodate guests with accessibility issues due to stairs, and the rugged terrain of the surrounding area. Likewise as seen in the photos, the home has carpeting which could be a hazard for certain guests. Please book accordingly. The Maverick is equipped with a level 2 EV charger and automatic backup generator, which takes over in case of power outages. The Maverick is fully set up for work from home scenarios with ultra fast internet, dual monitors and two separate work spaces. Wifi extenders and exterior outlets also enable you to work from our expansive wrap around deck. The Maverick provides its guests with a fully stacked pantry with spices, pots, pans and cooking oil. The grill has a dedicated propane line so our guests don’t run out of fuel while grilling. Coffee at the Maverick is dispensed via a French press and a Nespresso machine with beans and pods provided, respectively. For the safety of our guests and our property, the Maverick is equipped with external infrared HD cameras. Inside the home there is a Minut sensor that monitors home environment, including noise levels, smoking of any kind including vaping, occupancy, temperature and humidity. It's 100% privacy-safe and helps us make sure our guests have a wonderful stay and our neighbors are not disturbed. We look forward to hosting you! Guest access The home is accessible via keyless access - just input the last 4 digits of your cell phone and press #.
