Sleeping up to 12 guests in 6 generous bedrooms. The house and garden are always pet-free and spotlessly clean. The most incredible asset is the location. North Cottage is set entirely within the tranquil and secluded grounds of North Lodge Park. You're just a short, safe walk (no roads to cross!) through the park to Cromer's award winning sandy, Blue Flag beach. What's more all Cromer's shops, cafes and attraction are just footsteps away beyond the park. You can enjoy peace and privacy in this very special location, but you're still in the heart of Cromer. Key features: Sleeps 12 across 6 large bedrooms, 3 king rooms, 1 double and 2 twin rooms. 1 king bedroom is on the ground floor with step free access to the wet room. 3 shower rooms, including 1 en-suite (master bedroom) with a bath. 4 elegant, luxuriously furnished, reception rooms - so there's plenty of space for everyone! The enormous (70m2) Garden games room is the heart of the house. A huge light filled space with comfortable seating for all 12 guests. This room opens directly onto the lawned gardens and terrace - perfect for indoor and outdoor pleasure. Entertainment: 55 inch Sony smart TV, DVD and video streaming via your apps. Games: Professional quality table football, classic board games, jigsaws, chess, children's games, and garden games (badminton, boules, croquet). Second living room come snug with wood burner, three comfortable sofas and a 50 inch Sony smart TV. A perfect peaceful escape for quieter evenings to retreat from the fun and games. Dining Room - links directly to the kitchen, so no one's left out while meals are prepared. Features an oval oak dining table with seating for 12 - ideal for celebratory feasts. All china, glass and cutlery for 12 provided. Chef's kitchen - fully equipped for all kinds of cooking, and featuring high quality appliances: AEG electric multi-function oven, AEG induction hob, Liebherr fridge / freezer, NEFF dishwasher and a Panasonic combination-microwave. 3 oven gas AGA is available (by request only at additional charge) from Christmas to Easter only. Conservatory - a bright sun trap, filled with many exotic plants, offering an additional dining table seating 8 adults with an additional bistro style 2 seater table. There's also comfy seating for cocktails, morning coffee or relaxing. All bedrooms feature light restricting curtains, white cotton linen, and hypo-allergenic bedding, blankets, cushions and additional pillows. All the bedrooms have original sanded floor boards covered with rugs, and are furnished with wardrobe, drawers, bedside reading lamp, chair, and retro alarm clock. Bedrooms: Master Bedroom - king bed and en-suite. Sea views. Midnight Blue room - king bed, garden view. Red Room - classic double bed (4'6') sea view. Sky Blue room - twin, 2 x 3 foot single beds, partial sea view restricted by trees in summer. Silver room - twin 2 x 3 foot single beds, view across the park of the boating pond. Green bedroom - ground floor king with step free access to the wet room along the hallway. Garden: the extensive garden is completely walled and fenced, offering a safe and secure space for children. Enjoy garden games (provided) on the lush lawn, relax on the benches and steamer chairs, or dine at the tables and chairs located around the gardens (note -garden furniture is only available during the warmer spring, summer and autumn months of April - October). Parking: It's rare to find a house so close to the beach with as much parking as we provide. Off-road parking is on our gravel driveway, secured by an electric parking gate. The driveway has space for up to 5 cars, or 4 large SUVs. Note parking requires reversing. EV charging is not available at the house, but is available nearby at Morrisons supermarket. Strictly no parking in North Lodge Park itself. There is additional street parking nearby if required. Security: for your peace of mind there are 2 external security cameras focussed on the 2 entrance gates. Our North Lodge Park advantage: Step outside the gate and you're in historic North Lodge Park - once the private estate that belonged to North Cottage and North Lodge. Amenities in the park include a cafe, rose garden, children's play area (at the furthest end across the wooden walkway) with swings and play equipment. Most importantly, the park provides super safe and convenient access to Cromer's Blue Flag beach with no roads to cross! We even provide a beach trolley to wheel your stuff there. The park also has a lift to promenade level at the Rocket House, again, this is just outside the house. Guest access Access to the beach is through the park outside the house - there are no roads to cross. Cromer is pedestrian friendly so you can park the car on our drive at the start of your stay and forget about it. All shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Cromer has a railway station served by Greater Anglia trains from Norwich for connections nationwide. Greater Anglia's fleet is modern, air-conditioned, with wi-fi and they're one of the most punctual operators on the train network. A highly recommended travel option. Please support local businesses during your stay. Other things to note Guests have exclusive access to the entire house and the extensive private walled gardens (the garage and shed are locked). North Cottage Cromer is located within North Lodge Park. There's a picnic area with a children's boating pond and a children's play area at the furthest end of the park. There are very occasionally daytime events in North Lodge Park. The park is directly outside the house. Events include theatre and musical performances. You may occasionally be able to hear these performances in the garden, but they're not usually audible inside the house. These activities raise funds for the community maintained park.
