North Cottage Cromer - Luxury seaside holiday home
Christmas & New Year booking now! Wonderful house for extended family & friends to holiday or celebrate together. North Cottage Cromer has a fabulous beachfront location 2 minutes to beach and town. Beautifully furnished, luxuriously comfortable. 6 bedrooms; ground floor king bedroom & wet room 5x large bedrooms upstairs. Huge garden room where all 12 guests can relax. Living room, dining room and conservatory. Large garden, child friendly. Secure parking for 4/5 cars The space North Cottage Cromer is a large, extremely spacious seaside holiday home. There are plenty of welcoming rooms for the whole family or group of friends to relax. The extensive accommodation provides 4 elegant reception rooms, 6 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, cloakroom/utility and extensive gardens surrounding the entire house. It's just 2 minutes walk to the beach through North Lodge park (which is outside our gate!). There are no roads to cross to reach the beach. There's also step-free access to the promenade via the public lift in the park. Broadband Wi-Fi (up to 50mbps) with whole-home WiFi mesh network. Once inside the electrically operated gate you can park safely and securely on the large gravel driveway. There's parking for 4 or 5 cars depending on size (4 SUV type vehicles). There are 4 very comfortable reception rooms. The huge Garden Room provides plenty of space for all 12 guests to relax together. There's also a second elegant Living Room with sofas, TV and wood burning stove at the front of the house. Dining: The large Dining room seats 12 and the spacious Conservatory seats 8/10 at large dining tables. There are also tables on the terrace for al fresco dining. The kitchen is linked to the Dining Room by an archway and is fully equipped for all kinds of cooking. There's a ground floor king bedroom with access to the ground floor wet room - step free shower, toilet, basin - just along the hallway. There's a large Utility / Cloakroom with Miele washer/dryer, sink, drinks fridge, hanging space for coats and storage. The Garden Room Huge 72 square meter space - bi-fold doors open directly onto the terrace and large lawned gardens. Comfortable seating for all guests and a games table. Sony 55 inch smart TV, DVD player, video streaming. High quality table football and garden games including croquet, boules and badminton. Classic games including Scrabble, Monopoly, Cluedo, jigsaws, chess and other family favourites. Living Room 3 comfy sofas, coffee table, log burner (starter supply of logs provided). Sony 50" smart TV. Conservatory The spacious conservatory links the kitchen and the Garden Room. Large dining table with seating for 8/10. Separate bistro style table with seating for 2. Rattan and cushioned L shaped sofa and side tables. Many exotic plants complete this wonderful airy space. Note: the conservatory is not heated in winter. Dining Room Large oval dining table with seating for 12. Links directly to: Kitchen Fully equipped kitchen with AEG electric multi-function oven, AEG induction hob, Liebherr fridge/freezer, NEFF dishwasher, Panasonic microwave, toaster, kettle. Please note: The 3 oven gas AGA is only available from October to March by request at an additional charge. Full range of bakeware and cookware. Ample supply of glassware, china, and cutlery. Also provided: tea, coffee, sugar and essential kitchen supplies including soap, drying cloths, oven glove, dishwasher tablets, salt & pepper, table cloth, table mats. Wet room / WC The wet room is off the ground floor hallway. Step free walk-in shower, grab rail, hand held shower head, wash basin, toilet and towel rail. Utility / Cloakroom Large cloakroom/ utility with Miele washer/dryer, stainless steel sink. Small drinks fridge, space to store buggy, hooks for coats, space for beach stuff. Housekeeping Not available to guests. Upstairs: There are 5 further bedrooms, with an en-suite to the Master bedroom. The en-suite contains a bath. There's also a shower room and separate toilet. . Bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, soap, shower gel and shampoo are provided. Bed linen is white cotton. Pillows and duvets are hypo-allergenic. There are additional blankets and pillows readily available. Bedroom 1 Master bedroom - Kingsize bed with mahogany bed frame. Bedside tables and reading lamps, dressing table with mirrors, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe, rattan chair, chaise longe. Original floor boards and rugs. Sea view across the park. Ensuite: Large walk-in rain-shower, separate bath, pedestal wash basin and toilet, mirrored storage cabinet, towel rail. A curtained archway separates the en-suite from the master bedroom. Bedroom 2 Midnight Blue Room - Kingsize divan bed, bedside drawers and reading lamps, chest of drawers with mirror, wardrobe, and upholstered chair. Original floor boards and rugs. View across the garden. Bedroom 3 Red Room - Double bed with traditional metal bedstead, bedside tables and reading lamps, large wardrobe with hanging rail and shelves for clothes. Original floorboards and rugs. Partial seaview across the park. Bedroom 4 Sky Blue Room - 2x single 3'0" beds, bedside table, reading lamp, large wardrobe with drawers and hanging rail, upholstered chair. Original floorboards and rugs. Partial seaview across the park (largely obscured by trees in summer). Bedroom 5 Silver Room - Twin - 2x single 3'0" beds, bedside table, reading lamp, large wardrobe with drawers, shelves and hanging rail, chest of drawers and mirror, upholstered chair. Original floorboards and rugs. Seaview across the park and boating pond. Shower Room: Rain-shower and pedestal hand wash basin, bathroom cabinet, towel rails. Separate WC: Wall mounted hand wash basin, toilet. Gardens Parking Electrically operated parking gate, and pedestrian access gate. Parking requires reversing. Large gravel driveway with space to park 4/5 cars depending on size 2/3 spaces in front of the house, 2 spaces at the side of the house (see photos). Only 4 SUV size vehicles. Extensive lawns with mature sycamore tree. Plenty of space for badminton, croquet and boules - all provided. The garden is entirely walled and fenced and can be completely secured for the safety of children when both gates are closed. There's a herb garden, 'Secret Garden' and 'Courtyard Garden'. Wooden garden furniture, benches, tables, chairs are located around the gardens (in season only May - September). North Lodge Park is right outside the house. There's a bistro and cafe, boating pond, children's play area (at the furthest end of the park) and space to play other ballgames. Access to the beach is directly through the park - there are no roads to cross. Your safety and peace of mind: All our guests award North Cottage 5* 'sparkling clean' reviews. We usually personally greet and welcome our guests at check-in. Check-in is 5pm. Your check-out from the house is 10am. On check-out day we'll arrive from 08.30 to maintain the garden and outdoor spaces. We may also (with prior notice and agreement) mow the lawn, or water the plants during your stay if necessary for the well-being of the extensive gardens. You and your guests have exclusive use of the entire house and gardens. Guest access North Cottage Cromer has 4/5 private parking spaces (4 large SUVs, 5 standard cars) on the gravel driveway within the walled gardens. The garden is secured by an electrically operated parking gate. 2 cars can be parked at the side of the house and 2/3 in front. Access to the beach is through the park - there are no roads to cross. No parking is permitted in North Lodge Park. Cromer is pedestrian friendly so you can park the car on our drive at the start of your stay and forget about it! Other things to note Guests have exclusive access to the entire house and the extensive private walled gardens (note the garage and shed are locked). North Cottage Cromer is located within North Lodge Park. There's a picnic area with a children's boating pond and a children's play area beyond the walkway at the furthest end of the park. There are very occasionally daytime events in the park, including theatre and musical performances - you may be able to hear these performances while you're in the garden, but they are not usually audible inside the house. These activities raise funds for the community maintained park.
