Enjoy this unique and Relaxing A-frame cabin close to Penn State University (15 minutes), Colyer Lake (4 minutes), Tussey Mountain (11 minutes), Grange Fairgrounds (12 minutes), and Penns Cave (20 minutes), and many wineries & breweries, hiking, and Mt. biking. Good for Arts Festivals, Penn State graduation, football and parents weekends, or just to get away. The cabin feels like just the right amount of secluded while close to so much. The A-frame is outfitted with 1 queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, 2 single beds in the upstairs loft (steep steps to access the loft), and a queen pull out sofa in the Livingroom. The kitchen is furnished with an electric range, oven, refrigerator, pots & pans, place settings for 6, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. A workspace (desk & chair) are located in the loft bedroom. Linens and towels are provided. Guests will have full access to the A-frame which includes a standup shower, toilet, sink, hand and bath towels. The lower-level bedroom located on the main floor has a queen bed, small closet and a chest of drawers, sheets and blankets. The two single beds are located in the upper loft with steep steps and also has a closet, along with a screened in back porch on both levels. The living room has a Smart Roku TV that you may login in to your streaming services (Netflix, Roku, Peacock...) with, an AM/FM stereo, record player (records located in the cabinet under the TV), recliner/rocking chair, queen sofa bed and a stuffed chair, along with baseboard electric heat and has two thermostat controlled wall propane heaters with a fan. Parking in front of chalet along with an outside fire pit. Self check-in unless guests prefer to meet in person. Either is fine and I am available throughout your stay for any questions you may have. Secluded cabin in private forest. 2.7 miles from Colyer Lake, 7.5 miles from Tussey Mountain Ski and Recreation Centre and 12.4 miles to Penn State University. We recently made some upgrades and we have planted grass in the area around the sides and back of the cabin making it unusable for the time being, but the parking and fire pit area are available for use and the interior is unaffected. Still relaxing and inviting.
