For the best view, take a little hike up the hill to the pergola on top—you'll be rewarded with a look at some majestic peaks. We’ve got room for at least five cars, so bring the whole crew—but do keep your wheels on the paved spots, sugar. Now, as you saunter up to the front door, you’ll find a welcoming porch that’s just calling your name, complete with ceiling fans to keep that southern breeze going, and plenty of seating to enjoy a tall glass of sweet tea or lemonade on a sunny afternoon. Step inside to a spacious living room that’s as cozy as it is inviting, with a gas fireplace to snuggle up by and a flat-panel TV for those who love a good movie night. For those of you who fancy yourself a cook, we’ve gone the extra mile to make sure the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Whether you’re whipping up a quick supper or going all out for Sunday dinner, you’ll find it all here. Just off the dining room, you’ll discover an outdoor deck with seating for 12, so gather your loved ones and enjoy a meal under the stars. On the main level, you’ll find the king of all bedrooms—a primary suite complete with an ensuite bathroom. There are three more king rooms too, plus a large bathroom with a jetted soaking tub. Every bedroom features a flat-panel TV and a walk-in closet for all your treasures. And just in case you need to freshen up those duds, there’s a laundry room with an iron and ironing board—though honey, we certainly don’t encourage ironing while you’re on vacation! Head on downstairs to the ultimate entertainment hub, where the fun never stops. There’s a massive TV with Roku and a Blu-ray player, along with surround sound, a comfy sofa, and theater seating for the whole gang. The fun continues with an arcade game machine, pool table, ping pong table, and a stack of board games. The Gatlinburg entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just 12 miles away, or if you prefer a quieter route, the Townsend entrance is only 17 miles down the road. We are in the woods which means there are going to be some woodland creatures. We do have monthly pest control and bed bug treatment, however, you may encounter some bugs.
