Lakeside Log Cabin w/Games, Dock & Hot Tub

A getaway in every sense! Welcome to the Bear Den. This inviting waterfront cabin has the private rustic feel you’re looking for with an open floor plan & sprawling views of Claytor Lake inside & out. Cozy up with your morning coffee, gather on the wrap around deck overlooking the water, & enjoy the sun deck on the boat dock before taking a swim right off the dock! Just 4 minutes away from I-81 & all the amenities Claytor Lake has to offer! The space This spacious house offers room for up to 10 guests with 2 bedrooms on the lower level and 2 open loft bedrooms. Each of the lower bedrooms contains a queen bed and a closet. The upstairs loft area off the kitchen contains 2 queen beds and the loft area above the living room contains a queen bed, couch, and chair. Guest access All areas of the house, decks, and dock are open for access to guests. The dock available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. The boat lift will be used by the property owners occasionally and the rental does not include use of the owner's boat OR boat lift. Other things to note - Coffee Maker (Regular & Keurig) Dogs allowed with listing & pet fee (max 2 dogs, must be leashed outdoors). Fireplaces are not to be used by guests. Hot tub onsite – please turn to desired temp and re-cover after use. Kayaks and life jackets available (jackets in kitchen closet). You may see scheduled yard or hot tub maintenance crews briefly during your stay -Propane (for grill use): 1. There MAY BE a propane tank available at the house. 2. If you see a tank, you may use it for the grill. 3. If the tank is empty, guests are responsible for refilling it. 4. We DO NOT provide propane refills. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Please message us before arrival with any severe allergies so we can confirm whether accommodations are possible. -To allow us the opportunity to assist promptly, we kindly ask that any issues or concerns at the property be reported during your stay whenever possible. Issues reported after check-out may not be entertained. -Please note that during the summer months, non-venomous black snakes may occasionally be present around the property due to the natural environment. While they are generally harmless, we would like to make you aware for your comfort and safety. -Lost Item Return Policy: If you leave an item behind and would like us to ship it back to you, a return fee will apply to cover the handling and shipping process. Please contact us as soon as possible if you believe you have left an item at the property.
