A 10 minute drive will get you to HWY 198 where there are restaurants in both directions. To the West the is shopping including a grocery store (about 10 minutes). To the East just 5 minutes is the entrance to Sequoia National Park (but it is still another 40 minutes or so up a windy road inside the park to Giant Forest and other attractions). You need a car, which is just fine to get to the cabin. If you want to explore some of the other ranch roads by car, all wheel drive might be helpful. Hiking to explore around the ranch is always encouraged. There is a walkway to the river with a large swimming hole for you to enjoy. Also there are ponds near the cabin where you can fish and you can fish in the river as well! No Pets. No TV, or cell phone except AT&T. Cut the cord and have a real vacation! The cabin has WiFi. If you log your cell phone into the Wifi you will have cell phone service at and near the cabin. The Hosts have AT&T and 911.
