Please note: there is no lake access, please do not enter our neighbors private property under any circumstances. Other things to note Country living reminders: Please refrain from putting anything other than toilet paper in the toilet, we are on a septic system. We are also on well water. There is a water softener filtration system in place, but you may still notice a sulfur smell from time to time. The water has been tested and is potable (safe for drinking, washing, bathing, etc). For your convenience, we also provide a water cooler which dispenses ice water, room temperature water, and hot water for tea. Lake access: There is no public lake access from Chateau Willow or Willow Point Road. Please refrain from entering our neighbors properties to access the lake or for any other reason. There is public lake access at nearby Clute and Smith parks. Private road: Our road is private and maintained by its residents and therefore we ask that you obey the 10 mph speed limit which helps us to keep the road in good condition and without potholes. Fire policy: Please note; use of the fireplace in the living room is not permitted. You are invited to use and enjoy the propane fire pit table on the deck or we can supply an outdoor fire pit for the yard, if interested! Winter months: For reservations during winter months (November-March), 4WD or AWD vehicle is required to access the home in case of snow or ice as it 1/4 mile down a non-paved lake road. The road is plowed each time there is winter weather but it is steep and can be slippery without a proper vehicle. Pet policy: If you will be bringing a dog, please add it to the reservation as there is a $200 non refundable pet fee. More than 1 dog or any other type of pet will need to be approved on a case by case basis, please inquire before booking (additional fees may apply for more than one dog or for pet damage or messes discovered after the reservation). Please refrain from allowing dogs on the furniture and beds and keep crated while you are out of the house. If you are bringing a dog that is not accustomed to being left alone in a strange place, please consider a bark collar.
