The space The cabin is located in a lake community and is as unique as it gets. The building itself is from the early 1900s, hand built - with actual logs from the property. We have worked hard to preserve the amazing structure, while adding all the modern amenities you would expect. It’s easy to spend hours looking at the hand hewed beams, or the decor which seem to excentuate all the character the cabin has to offer. We purchased the cabin as an escape from busy life, and it’s just that. We spent a lot of time and money making this retreat what it is today. Over the past year or so, we have updated the kitchen, installed a new tile shower, new AC and heating system... really there’s too much to list! Beautiful wooded property with plenty of private parking, flat grass areas (perfect for outdoor games & tanning!) fire-pit, and BBQ. The cabin is a large open studio (1 room) that has a both a queen and a twin bed. Guest access Short walk to Rogers Lake, and only steps from CT State Forest hiking trails.
