The space STRP #201517383 A charming room in a 1920's house in the heart of East Nashville. Comes with upstairs living area as well with a , a coffee machine, microwave, sofa's and TV. Occasionally the space is shared due to a friend or family being in town but typically you have it all to your own. Feel free to ask, I usually know when and if people will be visiting. Welcome to historic and trendy Lockeland Springs neighborhood in East Nashville, just a few miles from downtown Nashville and 15 minutes from the airport. The neighborhood is charming, with coffeehouses, restaurants, a health food store, art galleries and plenty of independently owned boutiques all within walking distance (see below for specifics). You can catch a bus to downtown a block from our house or park your car on the street in front of our house. Our charming, updated 1910 Victorian is on desirable block within walking distance to Five Points. Beautiful hardwoods, updated kitchen, awesome backyard great for outside dining and or rest and relaxation. This listing is for one bedroom (with queen size bed) but there are two rooms upstairs if you are interested in both rooms there is a listing to book the entire upstairs, if you have trouble finding the listing please send us a note and we will forward you the link. With this one room listing you have a large sitting area and a full bath. Although you are welcome to use the full kitchen we have a small fridge, microwave, electric tea kettle and a coffee maker upstairs for your use. We live downstairs so the space feels very much your own, we will not get in your way. Feel free to laundry and if you need us to point you in a direction we will but otherwise come and go as you like. We are in bed early, quiet and will be very respectful of your privacy. There are two very friendly dogs (that will bark on your first visit but once they get to know you they will greet you with a tail wag and a smile) but they will be downstairs and completely out of your way as well. We also have 2 chickens (not roosters so they will not wake you up) as well as you will have the pleasure of meeting Herbert the Wonder Pig, he is friendly, gentle, kind and very loving, he mostly sleeps all day but if you want to rub his belly he would be delighted!! It's a regular urban farm at 1415 Forrest!! East Nashville was identified in USA Today on 4/16/13 as one of ten "Best Neighborhoods in the Country that the Tourists Haven't Yet Discovered."
