Relaxing 5 Star Stay Monterey Bay STR25-000026

We have lived here since 1989 & love living only 2 miles from the Ocean. We are also 2 miles from CSU Monterey Bay University and 2 miles from AT&T ProAm parking that has a shuttle to the tournament. Marina has the parking area for the shuttles to Pebble Beach Golf tournaments. Our area has numerous shopping and a wide variety of restaurants. Easy access to Highway 1. Only 15-20 min. to Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach and Laguna Seca Raceway. Big Sur is 45-60 minutes south . The space We have an upstairs Master bedroom which is a queen bed with a private bath and shower. You will be given a key to your bedroom and to the front door. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and hair dryer are available in the room. A Keurig machine for hot drinks, and an electric tea kettle for instant oatmeal and tea. We also have a small refrigerator and microwave . There is free Wifi in the room. We have just added Apple TV. It is a clean and spacious room to relax from hiking, sightseeing, kayaking , whale watching..... We also have a pack & play and an inflatable toddler bed if needed. Beach towels available upon request. We do not allow guests to bring their pets to our home. The listing has room for 2 adults only. Our bedroom is downstairs and at the other end of the house. Guest access Parking available for our guests in our driveway. Front door access with your own key to your guest room upstairs. Your room has it's own lock & key. Check the Monterey Aquarium site for latest hours of operation. Please review the site www.seemonterey for ideas on restaurants and fun places to explore in the area. We have information on restaurants, tourist areas , hiking, kayaking, whale watching ........ Our Marina airport also has the only parachute jumping in the area also. Just let us know how we can give you ideas to enjoy your time here. During your stay We will practice Covid awareness with wearing a mask and 6 ft distancing. We have in place the Airbnb Covid cleaning policy. We will be available to help and answer questions while you are here. If there is something that needs changed or added to the space, please tell us in person or on private messaging- not on public Airbnb reviews. We so appreciate that. We will address your concerns promptly. We live on the property. Other things to note We love this area! The average temperature here is in the mid 60's and a beautiful sea breeze. Bring a jacket as the fog that comes in at night is chilly . So we have no need of an air conditioner. Our house is in Marina, CA, the central point of Monterey Bay. To our south: *Monterey, 9.1 miles (about 15 minutes drive); *Monterey Fairgrounds, 6.5 Miles *Laguna Seca Raceway, 17.3 Miles/23min *To Carmel, 12.8 miles (about 20 minutes drive); *To Big Sur, 31.6 miles (about 63 minutes drive), (curvy road) *L.A. (about 5-7 hours drive). To our north: *to Santa Cruz, 34.4 miles (about 51 minutes drive)some of the road is 2 lane. *To Gilroy, 45 minute drive( great outlets); *To San Francisco - about 1 1/2-2hr. We have a small refrigerator, microwave, a Keurig machine with coffee & tea, & hot chocolate in the room. We also have a hot water pot and bottled water available in your room. We do not mind if you bring food into the room. We have no kitchen access at this time. Towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner are in the bathroom area. If you forgot a toothbrush & toothpaste, it is available upon request. We have a crib, or pack & play or an inflatable toddler bed if needed for a child. We do not allow pets. No smoking of any kind in our home. We have a washer and dryer available if needed for no charge.
