Our newly listed campus bungalow sits on Kentucky street just down the hill from the University of Kansas. Nestled on a corner lot, within walking distance to the Wheel, Hawk and Bull. Around the corner from Dillons grocery store and just a short drive to campus and Mass street. Walk to the up-and-coming Barker neighborhood and grab fresh baked goods and an artisan coffee. The space Our one level bungalow sits on a corner lot on the one-way Kentucky street. We have a long driveway south of the home for you to access, which easily fits 3 vehicles. Enjoy coffee on the front porch and watch the sun come up or relax on the warm sun porch in the evening. The entire home boasts original hardwood floors and trim, built-in bookshelves and high ceilings, a recently updated kitchen with new appliances including a dishwasher and gas stove. Enjoy a meal at the large farmhouse table which can seat up to 8 people or nestle up in the family room and access the FireTV on the 55 inch LED TV. With plenty of large original windows, the house is warm and welcoming with plenty of southern exposure to the sun. The bedrooms sit to the north side of the home. Two bedrooms have queen beds and one bedroom has a twin bed which we often stage as a relaxing daybed if guests are not intending to use as a traditional bed. The twin bedroom also doubles as an office with a vanity desk. Mature plants thrive in this bedroom because of the large windows surrounding 2 of the 4 walls. Parking is easy and on it’s own private drive south on the property. The house is on the corner lot, giving easy access to where you need to go on the one-way street, Kentucky. Guest access You will have access to the entire home, but we keep the basement locked unless needed for an emergency. Parking is south of the home in the driveway and free for guests to use.
