Our private and gated Villa San Lorenzo is fully furnished and sleeps 16 in bedrooms (18 w sofabed). It consists of a living room, a well stocked commercial kitchen, 8 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and views of the large pool and surrounding land and lake. The Villa is situated on 10 acres of private land enhancing the privacy and appeal, and is in a very desirable area of Italy in Umbria on the border of Tuscany. Piccola VSL guest house 2/2 + available for larger groups with an added fee. The space VSL is set up as a retreat center for many guests who value privacy and connection. All of the bedrooms are spacious with views of the surrounding land and grounds (a couple with Lake Trasimeno views), a private pool, and charming towns. There are high ceilings, all Villa bedrooms have remodeled en-suite bathrooms, and all rooms and are in excellent condition with expensive cotton linens and comfortable beds. There are several outdoor spaces for relaxing and eating, laundry facilities, free parking and privacy but also easy access to surrounding towns with the best food and activities Tuscany and Umbria have to offer. The property sits on the border of Umbria and Tuscany very close to a variety of world famous cities and activities. Guest access The Villa is fully inhabitable by your group. There is a lot of space and privacy, in both the property and on the land. Recently refreshed with luxury furnishings and amenities, it's the perfect family destination or couples retreat. Excellent location for those milestone birthdays, small intimate weddings or corporate or yoga retreats. We can also arrange in Villa cooking/pasta classes, yoga, massage, chauffeur service or transportation, chef's dinners, pizza parties, or wine tastings for an extra fee with advance notice. Other things to note Situated in central Italy, in the countryside midway between the Eternal City of Rome and the Renaissance City of Florence, the Villa is set in the region of Umbria, close to the border of Tuscany, near Castiglione del Lago. Castiglione del Lago is known for its beauty, located on a chalky promontory overlooking Lake Trasimeno centered around its castle, “Rocca del Leone." The village has ancient Etruscan and Roman origins and a particular charm, thanks to the beauty of the old town center, which is still ringed within medieval walls. You can also find extremely efficient ferries to the Lake isles, a sailing club, and a nice cycle and hiking track or rent ebikes around the lake. We can also arrange for private yoga. The property is well located near the cities of Montepulciano, Cortona, Assisi and Siena as well as many other fabulous hillside towns. Please note we have sloping hillsides, a pool and with any country home there can be outdoor critters and animals. We are surrounded by small farms, olive oil and walnut groves, wine, flowers, wheat and we are a couple miles away from a famous Motocross track that has occasional races is season.
