Birchwood #8 has been fully remodeled from floor to ceiling, adding an additional bedroom and living space to the cabin’s original rustic design. Now with a sweeping cathedral ceiling and modern updates, this cabin shines as the ultimate lakefront getaway. Perched just feet from the water’s edge, the sunrise views of Little Saint Germain Lake, a private dock and firepit, will leave you with lasting memories of your Northwoods vacation. The space Cabin #8 is one story, with limited steps and a level lakefront location. The cabin welcomes you to an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen, all under the warm glow of knotty pine accents and rustic wood beams. The kitchen is a welcome nod to modern luxuries with granite countertops, new appliances and all the amenities of home to cook and entertain on your lakefront vacation. Cozy up around the gas fireplace while watching the lakefront right outside your cabin’s door. Three bedrooms boast new furniture and mattresses, creating a cozy space to end your day after adventuring in the Northwoods. A main, primary suite has a queen bed and an attached bath for additional privacy and comfort. Down the hall you’ll find another bedroom with a queen bed and a third bedroom with a queen, twin bunkbed, a favorite for the younger travelers in your group. A sleeper sofa in the living room can be used for additional sleeping accommodations. Birchwood Resort has been upgraded and reimagined to showcase the rustic style of the Northwoods and the natural beauty of the resorts ¼ mile of frontage on Little Saint Germain Lake. A private, sandy beach is at the center of the resort, providing a safe and memorable space to swim and splash in the water. Kayaks and canoe are available for guest use, perfect for exploring the island just off shore. Little Saint Germain Lake is a 972 acre lake with several bays to explore and enjoy. Known for great fishing and boating, anglers find musky, panfish, bass, pike and walleye. Winter adventures are even more fun with over 500+ miles of snowmobile trail throughout Vilas county. Guest access *Guests have full private access to their cabin and have shared access to the sand beach area that includes shared use of kayaks & a canoe. *Birchwood Resort consists of 12 cabins, all along the 1/4 mile frontage on Little St Germain Lake. *There is parking available for each cabin, just outside of the cabins- parking for boat trailers available too! Other things to note *We, sadly, are unable to provide towels. Please plan to bring your own! *We provide all bed linens, two backup rolls of toilet tissue in each bathroom, one roll of paper towel, a small bottle of dish soap, one small bar of hand soap at each sink, and two (total) trash can liners per container. *Spices and condiments are not provided. *Firewood is not provided for your stay. Please plan on purchasing some in the area for your reservation. If there is any firewood left near your firepit you are welcome to use it! There are local vendors that sell bundles of firewood. *Please do not transport firewood from town to town to prevent any spread of invasive pests. *
