Welcome to Vacay Chalet! This 1970s cabin has been painstakingly rebuilt down to the studs and feels brand new, but remains one of the more affordable options in the Hochatown/Broken Bow area. The cabin offers a hot tub, large fire pit, and all the amenities you'd expect, plus it's located on 1/3 of an acre in the center of all the action this resort town has to offer! The space This cabin remains a guest favorite with visitors coming back to Vacay Chalet each and every time they come to town. THINGS GUESTS LOVE: ⭐ Quick and efficient communication with the host ⭐ The cabin's close proximity to EVERYTHING... V.C. is 15 minutes to Walmart & the grocery store in Broken Bow; 4 minutes to the Spillway Overlook where you can fish and wade in the water; 8 minutes to Beavers Bend train depot and horseback rides; 6 minutes to Greatful Head Pizza, & ONLY 4 MINUTES to the new Choctaw Landing Casino and Resort ⭐ Quick, easy, & safe check in with smart programmable keypads that delete guest codes as soon as the reservation is complete so you know the cabin is secure during your stay ⭐ Extra parking space... There's enough room in the driveway to park two vehicles plus a trailer with ATVS, a boat, etc. ⭐ EV charging... we offer both 30 amp & 50 amp, 220 volt service on the exterior of the cabin ⭐ Separate space for kids to hang out upstairs while parents enjoy quiet(er) time downstairs ⭐ Playground visible from both the fire pit and the hot tub so adults can relax while kids run off energy and play ⭐ Pet friendly... we allow up to two dogs per visit and there is plenty of room on the 1/3+ acre lot for dogs to walk around while leashed While there are so many AMAZING things about this cabin, there are things outside of our control that we'd like you to be aware of beforehand that have caused our reviews to appear lower than we'd like: ⭐ When we first purchased this cabin, other cabins were not in as close proximity. As Hochatown and Broken Bow have grown in popularity over the years, the neighboring lots have been developed and there are cabins closer than there were before. Vacay Chalet is still on a privately owned, oversized 1/3+ acre lot so you have plenty of space, but you will see guests staying at neighboring cabins. ⭐ When we renovated the cabin, we could not do anything to address the size of the bathrooms. Both bathrooms in the cabin house the cabin's water heaters and only have room for a small vanity, toilet, and stand up shower. No soaking tub. ⭐ We cannot control how prior guests treat the cabin. We have gone through multiple grills, multiple patio furniture sets, etc. When you come, there may be a spot on something or the grill might have rust because water was allowed into the vent. The kitchen spices and paper products might have walked off once again. We apologize but assure you everything is painstakingly cleaned between each guests' stay as is noted in many of our reviews and everything is still functional and cute. ⭐ Some of our past reviews mention wanting full length mirrors and TVs in the downstairs bedrooms. We have since added those. This cabin continues to be one of the best priced cabins in the area and is an excellent value for all that you get in the way of location, condition and finish out of the space, amenities, and guest relations. We have so many 5 star reviews that speak to that & we encourage you to read through our reviews... even the ones that aren't 5 stars to prove that.
