Translators Cottage

Reserve this cute cottage as home-base for your tour of Lancaster County. Prepare meals in the modern kitchen while your children enjoy the backyard and swings. Take in the farmland view while you sit by the firepit. This country home has easy access to Route 222 and the PA Turnpike making it a quick drive to many attractions. This is the prior home of a family on a Bible Translation project in Mexico. Enjoy their cozy home while supporting their mission! The space The kitchen, dedicated dining space, living room, mud room/laundry, full bath, and one bedroom are on the first floor. There are an additional two bedrooms on the second floor. The cottage is cooled by ductless mini-split A/C units (new for 2026!) Although there is no TV, free Wi-Fi is provided. Or unplug and enjoy the games and books! Notice: The stairs to the second story are very steep. Those with poor balance should not plan on sleeping on the second story. Guest access The main floor and second story are all accessible. The garage and basement/cellar are off-limits. Other things to note There is a parking/turn-around space behind the cottage. We ask that you always turn your vehicle around before pulling out onto S. Ridge Road (for safety's sake). For your safety, there are cameras monitoring the driveway front and rear, and the front entry. There are no cameras inside.
