Our newly renovated lakeview cabin is the perfect place to enjoy a much deserved escape beside Connecticut’s largest lake. Enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise over the lake from the swing in our sunroom or on the deck next to the chiminea. Then enjoy a day out swimming at one of the 3 private community beaches, fishing off of the docks, exploring the lake by kayak or venturing out to the many nearby hiking trails and State Parks. Only 60 miles from NYC. 7 night minimum. The space Enjoy this cozy, airy, single level home with vaulted ceilings and central air. Take in the lake views from all common living areas.The house is centrally located in the community, within a few steps away from the ball field, beach, children’s playground, bocce, horseshoe, tennis and basketball courts.The master bedroom includes a queen sized bed with large closets and washer and dryer within. The second bedroom includes a twin bed with a twin pull out trundle underneath.The third bedroom includes two twin sized beds. All with ample closet and dresser space.There is a queen sized and toddler sized air mattress available to use. The couch in the 3 season sunroom also has a pull out queen sized bed. Guest access You’ll have the feel of a secluded escape with the luxury of grocery stores, shopping and many restaurants within a 5 min drive. There are 3 kayaks, 1 SUP (stand up paddleboard) and life vests on the property that guests are free to use. There are many nearby marinas for daily boat rentals. Thunder ridge ski hill is 15 minutes away or Mohawk mountain is 45 mins away that guests can enjoy in the winter months. Other things to note The property does not allow pets or smoking. If there is any sign that a pet has been in the house or any evidence of smoking there will be a min. of $500 charge. No parties allowed. Only guests staying at the house are allowed on the premises. There are outdoor cameras which provide an exterior view of the house for your safety. There are no cameras with visibility to the interior of the house.
