There are several companies that rent boats, jet skis, and kayaks in our area. There are numerous creeks and rivers for fishing. We have a car museum that a lot of people enjoy. Some people like to do the winery tours. There are several hiking trails and waterfalls to visit in the general area along with access to the Appalachian Trail. Hamilton Gardens is a nice place to visit for plant lovers. Bell Mountain is quite scenic. The Alpine Village of Helen, GA is just over the mountain. There are several horseback riding stables in the area. Vogel State Park is worth the visit. Brasstown Bald is the highest point in Georgia. There is basically something for everyone. In order to consider pets in our rental, we would need some additional information. What is the breed of your pet? How old is the pet and how much does it weigh? We would need information concerning your flea control treatment for your pet. We agree to consider pets in our rentals under these conditions: 1) there is a $50 non-refundable pet fee. 2) there is an additional $25 non-refundable cleaning fee. 3) Pet must remain crated when unattended. 4) pet is not allowed on any furniture, and you will be held responsible for all damages to the property. 5) If you bring in any undeclared pets, there will be a charge of $200 per pet added to your stay. There is a maximum of two pets per household. No unauthorized parties, underage drinking and/or controlled substances of any kind will be permitted. No Smoking in the house, smoking is permitted outside and on the open-air porch, not the screened in porch. Please use ashtrays provided. No refunds will be issued if you are asked to leave.
