Villa Rosa is conveniently located at Sapphire Village Condominiums in Red Hook on the east end of the St. Thomas. Red Hook is the best place to be on the island. You are just minutes away from endless restaurants, bars, grocery stores, shopping, nightlife, and the ferry to St. John. This studio condo was fully renovated in 2017. We completely gutted the condo and renovated everything from top to bottom. Everything in the condo is new! The moment you walk into our condo, you will be amazed by the magnificent view and refreshing breeze. Villa Rosa is designed with appealing furnishings with all the comforts of home. We have everything you will need for your perfect getaway including, a luxurious king size bed, wireless internet, air conditioning, 40” flat screen TV, ice chest, beach chairs, beach towels, Keurig coffee maker, fully equipped kitchen, shower only, hair dryer, clean linens, and a safe for valuables. Villa Rosa is located in the Barbados building. You can walk right out of the condo to a pool on the upper level, or walk down to another pool by Sapphire Bar & Grill. Sapphire Bar & Grill is the onsite restaurant. Sapphire Village also has a marina that offers water sports, sunset cruises, fishing, and parasailing. On the beach there is a dive shop that leaves from the marina. St. Thomas is the perfect place for the ultimate relaxing vacation, and you can do everything you want right here at Villa Rosa! Simply search for airbnb "16701644" in your browser to find it) Sapphire Village Resort Condo: Enjoy our smoke-free, air-conditioned, One Bedroom Unit with beautiful views of the nearby islands of St. John and the British Virgin Islands. This unit is located just a short stroll from the beautiful white sand Sapphire Beach and it's protected tropical natural coral reef system that offers some fantastic snorkeling and diving. On-premises, there are two freshwater pools, a restaurant, and a bar with daily specials, and clothes washing facility that is located next to the lower pool. At the adjacent Sapphire Marina, one can rent jet skis, powerboats, and charter other larger boats and sailboats to cruise, fish, snorkel, scuba dive, or simply do some island hopping to the nearby islands of St John and the BVI. There is also a nice reasonably priced bar and restaurant adjacent to Sapphire Beach. Sapphire Village is located less than ½-mile from the inter-island ferry docks of Red Hook and the American Yacht Harbor Village Complex, where there are many restaurants, bars, and shops. In addition, Red Hook offers other convenient services such as a bank, pharmacy, and well-stocked food stores. Coki Point Beach, Coral World Ocean Park, and the horseback riding stables are located 10 minutes away by car, taxi, or bus. Magens Bay, Mahogany Run Golf Course, and the duty-free shops of downtown Charlotte Amalie are located about 20 minutes away depending on traffic. Other: Taxi​ and Car Rental service are available at Sapphire Beach or you can use the efficient and very inexpensive Island safari bus system to travel the island for approximately $1.00 each way. Guest access As a guest of our condo, you are entitled to the exclusive benefits of guests of the Sapphire Village Resort. Amenities include: access to the beach, 2 swimming pools, marina, and on-site laundry facilities. Sudi's Caribbean Bar & Grille is next to the swimming pool and the Sapphire Beach Bar is just a short walk from your condo. Visit the "Dive-In" dive shop for watersports rentals (kayaking, paddle boards). Take a short stroll over to the marina where you can rent boats or book day trips and charters for snorkeling or exploring the beaches in St. John, or the BVI's. Rent jet-skis, or go parasailing! Come to the marina at dusk, and when the fishing boats return, they will sell their fresh catch to you....take that fresh fish back to your condo and sauté' it with a little butter, lemon and garlic...mmm! Other things to note NEW COVID-19 POLICIES IN EFFECT: St. Thomas is re-opening to tourism 9/19/20. The Governor has mandated that ALL visitors need to present a negative COVID test result with results received within 5 days prior to arrival, and be registered on the USVI Travel Portal. We are recommending all guests travel with facial masks & hand sanitizer (facial masks can be a scarf, bandana, surgical mask, cloth mask but no ski masks). Please follow the CDC guidelines currently in place across the country. When you arrive in St Thomas you will go through a screening where you will be asked questions about your health & you will have your temperature taken, and you will be asked to present your negative COVID result. Condo Arrival: Check-in Time: 4:00 pm on. (Due to COVID-19 precautions, early check-ins and late check-outs are currently not being offered.) There are numerous taxis at the St Thomas Airport to transport you to Sapphire Beach Resort. The regular taxis are passenger vans & you will share the van with other travelers. Facial masks are required. The charge is approximately $15-$20 per person, depending on how much luggage you have & how much you tip. With the current environment of social distancing, we understand you may prefer to take a private taxi from the airport to Sapphire Beach. It is approximately $90. Please call them 1 day in advance. Please inform the driver you are headed to Sapphire Village Resort. Please visit USVI Governor’s website to get updated COVID policies or restrictions. Condo Departure: Check-out time is 10:00 am with no exceptions. There will be one additional day charged to your damage deposit should your checkout be later than 10:00 am. Late Check-outs are not being offered because of the additional time & cleaning and mandated disinfection procedures required between guest arrivals. Please turn off the a/c and remove your trash when you leave. Towels, Linens, Beach Towels and a starter set of Paper Products are supplied for your stay. Maid Service is not provided but can be arranged at an additional cost should you request it. The cost for maid service is paid directly to the cleaning person. Guests are responsible for purchasing any additional supplies. We will provide you with a guest guide & St Thomas Map at check-in. We highly recommend you visit the island of St. John. It is only a 20 minute ferry ride away, and they have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world!
