Cane Creek Cottage at Fall Creek Falls

*NEW HOT TUB FEATURE*We are DOG FRIENDLY,NO FEE! Make yourself at home in a private raised cottage nestled on 2 wooded acres 1200 ft. from the north entrance to Fall Creek Falls state park. This is a fully stocked cabin with CENTRAL HEATING AND AIR, to make your stay as comfortable and low cost as possible. The cabin has a great open floor plan and is surrounded by a large wrap around deck and sliding doors in every room, you feel like you are in a tree house! The space The kitchen and dining area have a French country feel while the rest of the place is swimming in southern bohemian decor. It makes the place feel super cozy. We offer central heating and air conditioning, fire pit, (seasonal) fireplace and a charcoal grill. Wood bundles available upon request only! Please request before your visit. It is $6 per bundle, just like it is inside the park. There is a fold out couch in the living room which is a full size bed, the master bedroom has a queen mattress and a private bathroom with a shower. The other bedroom has a bunk, with a twin over full, for some extra wiggle room. There is also an additional bathroom with a bath tub down the hall. The washer and dryer unit are in the hallway. Other cool on site extras are an assortment of coffee makers, we have a percolator, tea pot, traditional coffee maker (with auto setting and shut off) and Keurig. I also have a 8 Qt. slow cooker. When you want to go out exploring with kids and dogs, it always feels great to come back to a hot slow cooked meal. There is a dishwasher, microwave, oven and fridge. For those rainy days we have a shuffleboard court under the deck and plenty of books and board games. We also offer Free WiFi/ high speed fiber with a work desk for people who need to work from home. a smart TV in every room with Disney Plus, Hulu and ESPN. For movie apps you need to sign into your own accounts. For those wonderful clear nights there is nothing like lighting the fire pit and sitting underneath the stars in our cedar Adirondack chairs. If you are bringing pets, please bring dog toys, beds and crates, we are dog friendly but do not provide those things because of cross contamination with our own pets. Make sure your pets have proper ID tags and are fully vetted. This is a very rural and wild location. ***PLEASE, ALL DOGS MUST BE HOUSE TRAINED!*** There is also video surveillance around the outside of the property ONLY. It is for our protection and yours. A new 8 person hot tub was just installed! No children are to be left unattended, absolutely NO pets in the hot tub and please cover and turn off the lights and lock up when it’s not in use! Wood is provided just please be mindful, it is a shared stack for all of our guests. If the wood stack is depleted greatly, you could be charged to replenish the stack. It's truly a magical place and I am so excited to share it with others. ***PLEASE NO PARKING UNDER THE DECK!!! ALL GARBAGE PUT IN OUTSIDE CANS MUST BE BAGGED!!!*** ***PARK POOL IS OPEN FOR THE 2022 SEASON*** All natural bodies of water have open access! Guest access No cars allowed under the deck at any time. The locked area under the house is off limits. Other things to note POOL CLOSED FOR 2021 "Lake and pool access" are NOT on the property but offered close by in the park. They also require a fee and are NOT included with your stay.
