La Belle Ancienne is nestled in the quaint village of Assignan (936 AD), built on a hill near St Chinian, in the heart of a region steeped in history, as well as wine: the Languedoc. Exposed stonework, large wooden beams, a classic winding staircase from cellar to roof terrace, fireplace, marble sink and original tiles preserve the antiquity and charm of its medieval character. Though authentically restored, you will find all modern conveniences.
