The space Available Dec 25 to Jan 31 with a 30 night minimum stay. Come and go as you like during that time! Enjoy 26-foot vaulted ceilings and windows that wash every room with light. Wide-plank oak floors, vintage Turkish and Moroccan rugs and sectional sofa for hanging out and enjoying company. The front and back gardens are graced by three giant oaks. Pick your own oranges, plums, figs, mulberries, pomegranates, and loquats right off the trees, depending on the season. Partake of the potted greens and herbs. Fireplace and two outdoor fire pits with stacks of cured wood for enjoying cool nights. Other amenities include broadband Internet and Sonos audio throughout the house. A theater nook with hi-def screen and cinematic surround sound. A pro-quality gym with versatile power rack, rowing machine, and infrared sauna. Ceiling fans in every room and central air throughout. The twee Ojai Trolly stops just down the street, running to and from downtown – otherwise a 5-minute drive. This great location West of town means in 10-minutes you can be renting a boat on Lake Casitas or hiking in the canyons and streams. A 20-minute shot to the beaches and shops of Ventura. Or, drive the winding Casitas Pass to Carpenteria (30 mins) and Santa Barbara (45 mins). No pets, no smoking, no parties. Not planning to empty our cabinets and closets like a pure vacation rental, but it means the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry will be stocked, and you are welcome to slide right in and use whatever you like! You'll get the place super clean with lots of freedom to make it yours. We’ll be available throughout by phone and text to help make your stay smooth and memorable. Guest access There is a 4th bedroom, used as an office, which will be locked off. The rest of the house and grounds are available for enjoyment.
