This holiday home sits opposite the Manor House and adjoins a delightful, thatched cottage. Part of Olive Tree Cottage dates back to 1642 as do lots of the surrounding houses. It was totally refurbished in 1994 and now provides modern living amenities. The space The buildings in the village are all higgledy piggledy with architectural examples from the 16th, 17th,18th and 19th centuries. The village has a spring and stream running down the main street and boasts ducks and geese in the spring pond and on the village green. Perfect for those who enjoy exploring as there are great walks from Portesham, many with fantastic views over Weymouth Bay, Portland, the Fleet, Lyme Bay and the Devon Coast all at the same time.
