Red House, Private Suite with View

This artfully decorated suite at our Red House is very private and quiet with it's own separate entrance. It is suitable for one or two adult guests. It has a kitchenette, bathroom with shower, comfy Queen bed, and sitting room with patio access. Enjoy mountain views and gardens on our one acre hillside property, a little slice of paradise. The space This apartment, attached to our home, has a separate entrance. Your personal parking space is steps away down the driveway in the rose garden. Inside you'll find the kitchenette complete with microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and instant hot water pot. You can prepare simple meals but there is no stove. We supply coffees and teas, sugar, honey, and half & half. There is a drip coffee maker if you prefer to bring your favorite ground coffee. The bathroom is equipped with towels, soap and shampoo in shower. In the bedroom area there is a comfy Queen bed with 4 pillows. There is a spacious sitting area with a TV and many interesting books to peruse, a sofa, and table and chairs for working or dining. On the patio, under the oak tree, there are two lounge chairs for relaxing and a table and chairs for dining. We hope you'll find time for bird watching, daydreaming, napping, reading, or watching the ever changing light on the mountains surrounding the Ojai Valley. We have decorated the suite with our own collection of colorful handcrafted furniture and wall art, much of it from the fine craft gallery we owned for 45 years in the Arcade, Ojai's main shopping district. House Rules: We have a few house rules (see below) but two things are worth noting - Our place is not suitable for children or infants. And we request that guests leave their perfume, essential oils or after shave at home. We've found these products linger in the air and furniture long after a guest goes home, and affect those with allergies or sensitivity to scent. Guest access There is a small patio overlooking the front of our property at your private entrance. And outside the back door to your suite, an adjacent flagstone patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee, with stunning views of the mountains surrounding the Ojai Valley.
