A charming, private apartment in a safe upscale neighborhood about 15 minutes from Richmond. You’ll be able to enjoy a beautiful yard with gas fire pit and patio. This 900 sq.ft. apartment has a full kitchen, full size washer and dryer, tons of storage space and high ceilings- perfect for the long-term stay. The apartment is located in the walk out basement of our home, but the space is completely private with private entrance. The space is bright and open with lots of special touches. This apartment has a private entrance that you access via keypad from the patio. The apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen with lots of cabinet space and a pantry, cozy living room with a fire place and satellite TV and coat closet, and bedroom with three large closets. The bathroom has a large shower with a river stone floor, a vanity and plenty of storage for towels and linens (provided). Parking is available on the street. We are bee keepers and our hives are also located in the back of our wooded yard. You may see our dogs, Gary and Suzy Q, in the backyard from time to time. You will have access to the whole apartment. We have a few things stored in the laundry room, but we will notify you if we need to retrieve anything from the storage area. We are always available by text. There are plenty of great options for brews and food! Some of our favorites include The Caboose(farm to table), The Iron Horse(dinner on the railroad tracks), Giovannis(pizza),Center of the Universe Brewery(local beer)and The Local Cup(coffee shop). Neighborhood is great for walking around! We are a short 15-minute drive from Scott's Addition and downtown Richmond. We're also about an hour from Charlottesville and Williamsburg and two hours from Virginia Beach. The bees in the backyard are away from the house and forage 1-2 miles away. We have local honey in the apartment when available. We are available should you have questions about anything during your stay. It is our goal to make sure you have an excellent stay.
