The Lake Lodge (Windermere)

Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car. The space Wansfell Lodge, is part of Wansfell Holme. The location is second to none, both in terms of scenery and proximity to Lake District towns, walks, restaurants and other attractions. The lodge has its own private garden, complete with a summer house for your exclusive use and garden furniture, including a parasol, is provided . Unfortunately we don’t allow wedding parties. Guest access Wansfell Holme is divided into 3 separate houses, each with a private garden. The whole of the Lake Lodge house is yours alone.
