The Boat House - absolute waterfront serenity

Absolute waterfront as-close-as-you-can-get to the sea and coastal wildlife - offering privacy, serenity, sunshine and stunning sunsets... Very close to amenities - including golf courses, beaches, cafes, and Auckland's CBD. The Boathouse is for the pleasure of booked guests - not to entertain friends and family - there are many venues in the area we are happy to recommend. The space The Boat House was originally used as a boat shed that extended about 3 metres over the water at high tide. At some point (sadly) the over-water space was removed as it was in a poor state of repair and the boat shed was repurposed as a guest house in the 1970’s or 1980’s. Between 1990 and now it became a recording studio and was extended toward the swimming pool area. The extension is now utilised as an office and the studio refurbished by its current owners for guests to enjoy the beauty and serenity of its location in greater comfort. Situated at the end of our property and right at the waters edge, the Boat House separate from the main house but I have an adjoining office space that is only used during work days/hours and has been soundproofed for privacy. There's free offstreet parking for one vehicle. Guest access You'll enjoy exclusive use of the Boat House with its exclusive courtyard and Al fresco dining Other things to note Important note - the Boathouse is for booked guests only. We do not allow hosting of drinks, dinner parties, BBQs or other events with friends/family. There are many great venues in the area if you want to meet and entertain your friends and family. Please note there are basic cooking facilities but for hygiene and safety we do not supply any cooking ingredients, including salt and pepper or oil etc.
