With year round access this cabin provides a warm cozy place to call home during all four seasons. A two-sided rock fireplace anchors the main living area, dining room and kitchen.  In the great room, vaulted ceilings and high windows take in the surrounding woods. The large front yard has a large deck with BBQ grill and table for outdoor gatherings. The two-car garage is heated and has a ping pong table.  BED CONFIGURATION: (Home is single level, so all rooms/bathrooms are on the same floor): Bedroom #1: King Bed Bedroom #2: Queen Bed Bedroom #3: Queen Bed Bedroom #4: King Bed Bedroom #5: 2 Sets of Twin Bunk Beds This home is NOT pet friendly. Owners are very allergic to dogs, so we cannot make any exceptions. LOCATION: In the heart of the Lake Vallecito recreation area, you are near the marina, hiking, biking and ATV trails, fishing, hunting, ice fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling - the San Juan wilderness area is at your doorstep! Vallecito also has a few restaurants and general stores. Appx 25 miles to downtown Durango and 50 miles to Purgatory Ski Resort. Consistent with most Colorado mountain homes, the home does not offer air-conditioning. The fireplace in the Great Room is operational; the fireplace in the bedroom is NOT operational. This home has parking for 3 vehicles. During winter storm events 4WD is required. There are 3 ring cameras on the outside of the home facing the driveway, back porch and walkway to front door. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
