This chalet is located in the charming family resort village of Albiez-Montrond in Savoy, where the famous Opinel knife was born. IN WINTER The chalet is close to the ski lifts. The chalet is close to the ski lifts. Departure from the chalet skis on your feet to reach the ski lift by a short off-piste crossing, minimum 2nd star level. Otherwise about 10 min. walk to reach the ESF du Mollard (choose this ESF and not the one in Le Plan which is further away) or take the shuttle 200 m from the chalet or 2 minutes by car... Return to the chalet skis on your feet, off-piste on a very busy crossing, minimum 2nd star level... The location map of the chalet is on the site. You can also go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or ski touring. Kids can play in the snow on the grounds around the chalet. IN SUMMER you are at the start of many walks and hikes of all levels, The chalet is located 200 meters from the Col du Mollard, in the heart of many cycling routes. Several cycling races take the pass, including the Tour de France (2006, 2012 and 2015), the Dauphiné Libéré. Children can take free pony rides. There are also horseback rides and lessons. A developed body of water is 300 m from the chalet. IN SEASON you have a Sherpa supermarket, a mountain grocery store, a traditional bakery and a cinema on site. Many activities for young and old are organized by the Tourist Office. The price includes cleaning upon checkout. The chalet must however be left in a "normal" state of cleanliness. On arrival, you will find everything you need to start your stay (toilet paper, dishwasher and washing machine tablets, garbage bag...). RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS > Accommodation tax €1.65/night/person over 18, to be paid upon arrival. > Security deposit of €1,500 on arrival, returned 10 days after departure at the latest. > In winter, electricity contribution €50 OPTIONS > Rental of sheets: Large bed 20 euros small bed 15 euros > Linen kit: €50 package (1 large bath towel per person, hand towels, kitchen towels).
