Welcome to our quaint cabin nestled among the aspens and atop the tundra in bucolic Jefferson. At 9501 feet, the South Park basin offers expansive views with 12-14,000' peaks in each direction. Our little cabin on the prairie, boasts 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Stocked with everything you need for a short or long-term stay 2 offices, Starlink, TVs, surround sound, games and more. You'll stay cozy with our wood burning stove and gas furnace. Park Co License: 25-0344 The space The main bedroom boasts a king bed with a full bathroom across the hall. The second bedroom is in the loft upstairs which also has a super convenient half bath. There are two workspace setups with 22" monitors and USB-C cable to plug in for your remote work/work from anywhere needs! The internet is starlink and is stable and super fast! Sunlight will stream through the East facing floor to ceiling windows in the morning and on clear evenings you'll catch an incredible view of the Milky Way. The kitchen is 'ready to go' to fry up some freshly caught trout, crockpot your family chile recipe, or just enjoy your morning coffee. There is a large deck which overlooks the prairie behind the neighbors' cabin where you can often spot elk, antelope, deer and the occasional moose. Behind the house and past the aspens, there is a horse pasture and a view of the mountains. Guest access The Michigan Hills Neighborhood is accessed by country roads that are dirt and gravel - 4WD/AWD required Oct-Apr. In the summer all cars can access the neighborhood. The cabin is only 1.7 miles off of HWY 285. There is no hunting, shooting, ATV-ing, or off leash dogs allowed in the neighborhood.
