Hidden Oak Hideout
40 minutes or less to Yosemite, Bass Lake and more! Very clean and modern 2 bed, 1 bath attached private apartment with private entrance, living & dining areas, and kitchenette. Non smoking and animal dander free! Read our reviews before you book another place! The space This is a no smoking (anywhere in the property, including outside) 2 bedroom 1 bath attached private apartment on 3 acres. You'll have your own private entrance, with ample and safe parking in a quiet neighborhood. Central A/C and heat keep you comfortable no matter the weather outside. We have never owned pets or smoked since the construction of this space thus it can be considered truly pet hair, dander, and smoke free. Due to our own severe allergies, and the fact the HVAC unit is shared with our living space, we will not allow animals of any kind, for any reason, to the property. The master bedroom has a queen memory foam mattress, a side table, a fold out luggage rack, a mirror, and a cabinet full of board games. A sliding glass door leads to a small table and 4 chairs outside, and has a private door to the bathroom. The walk-in closet has hangers for your use. The kitchenette has a mini-fridge with a freezer compartment. There is a 2 burner hot plate, a microwave, and toaster, toaster oven and my favorite part, the coffee bar (with tea, too) which we hope will help you start your day off right. The kitchenette includes flatware and place settings for 6, and basic kitchen tools. Ask if there is something specific you need, we may be able let you borrow it for your stay. The dining set seats 6 and would work nicely for a laptop work space. The second bedroom has a queen pillow-top mattress a side table with mirror and a chest, that would work well for a suitcase. The peg rack is for any items you need to hang using hangers from the master bedroom closet. The bathroom's huge shower, which you share with a hanging plant, has an upgraded shower head, conditioning shampoo and shower gel, and if you forget something essential we may have what your missing, so please, just ask. Guest access When you arrive you will park in the large parking area on left side of house which is just outside of the private entrance. Specific check-in arrangements will be made after booking, but generally someone will be here to give you a key and and answer any questions. For your safety, only the reserving guest with a valid picture ID will be receiving the keys. There is plenty of parking for boats and RVs (no hookups) in front of the unit. Let us know before your arrival for easy parking instructions. Other things to note Our property has beautiful wildflowers in the spring, and while the summers can be hot, there are some great swimming and fishing spots nearby. Fall is a great time to visit when the summer crowds have thinned and the weather is usually nice. There is a slight chance of a dusting of snow in the winter (2500 ft elev.). Keep an eye out for deer, coyote, raccoon and even an occasional wild turkey. While we have rarely seen bears, wild boar, and have never seen a mountain lion, but they are known to live in or near the area. Coarsegold also has a festival in the fall to celebrate the migration of tarantulas. You may see them walking across the road at that time of year but they are harmless, even though they look creepy.
