Longtail Beach House is located above a turquoise bay with excellent views and only minutes to the beach, shopping, restaurants spa & activities. The house is designed with traditional rustic Thai materials and blended with modern comforts & conveniences. The adjoining resort onsite has a pool, spa, restaurant, beachfront playground, reception and services for your use. To be a good fit before booking, please read our rental agreement. This is a house, not a full service hotel or B&B. The space Longtail Beach House is privately owned but operated by a local resort staff that can help with your vacation needs. Open floor plan extends onto the large balconies to offer you a natural and rustic Thai outdoor feeling while in the comforts of home. Enjoy a tropical breeze swinging in the hammocks, or reading on the outdoor lounge. Listen to the jungle music & soothe your mind, gazing into the palm lined mountains. Small boats sail the blue bay. A short 2 minute stroll down the driveway leads you to a white sand beach perfect for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, jogging or sun tanning. (The walk uphill will be a bit longer.) A variety of activities are offered from the beach including massage, trekking, island tours, boating, diving, fishing and Marine Park trips. THE VIEWS: Sea View, Mountain View, Bay View, Jungle View. THE HOUSE/BUNGALOW: Total 96 sq. meter (315 SF) Indoor/Outdoor Living Space. Features 61 sq. meters (200 SF) of indoor space. Two Bedrooms each with a double bed. Air conditioning in 2 bedrooms. One Bathroom with hot shower and double sinks. All linens provided. Fully equipped Kitchen plus nearby restaurant dine-in or take away. Furnished Living Area with fans, hammocks, lounge, bar/table, stools, chairs. Wifi and books provided. NO TV. Additional 35 sq. meters (115 SF) of Outdoor Balcony living space; one covered and one open deck with hammocks, bench and outdoor furniture. Note: The house is next to the street and you will hear road noise. In the rainy/green season you will notice natural scents from natural hand-made materials. Guest access -Check in and pick up keys at Longtail Beach Resort Reception (Reception closes at 9pm) -Guests have beach access down a small paved driveway and footpath through Longtail Beach Resort. -Guests are welcome to use the Pool, Spa, Playground, Reception and Restaurant at Longtail Beach Resort. -Onsite parking is available on the side of the house which is on a slope or in the Longtail Carpark. Other things to note -This is a "Private House Rental", NOT a Hotel or Bed & Breakfast." Guests provide their own meals or eat at nearby restaurants. -The road to TNP is now concrete. With the improved road, comes more travelers exploring. Longtail Beach House is located at the entrance to a bungalow resort. Expect motorbike traffic to pass by. The house is cozy and nestled at the end of the road with the jungle behind. You will hear normal jungle noise: birds, monkeys, squirrels etc. If you are looking for a "Remote Sanctuary" with silent solitude, this is not a good fit. -With climate change, any time can be the 'wet-green season', or 'hot-and-dry'. Please consider your comfort level when/ if it's stormy, hot, and/or rainy. We can not control the weather or how fast trees grow. The surrounding views change seasonally and annually. -The house is equipped with a generator across the street in a concrete building. If there is a power cut, the generator will restore lights, cooling and refrigeration. Like all generators, noise is expected as the generator operates on diesel fuel. Please think first, if this is your style of accommodation before booking LONGTAIL BEACH HOUSE - RENTAL AGREEMENT - version 1.1 Rental House: Guest and Host agree, this is a Vacation Rental House, used for temporary or seasonal rentals. • The number of overnight guests is limited to 4 persons unless otherwise approved by Host. • Guests may use the onsite Resort Reception between the hours of 9am-8/9pm for check in, inquiries, plan day-trips, tours, laundry and taxi service. You are always welcome to contact the host, observing USA west-coast time. • Guests may use the onsite Reception, Spa and Pool operated by Longtail Beach Resort. • Longtail Beach House is not a full-service Hotel or Bed & Breakfast; it is a House. • A full kitchen is provided for personal use, plus Longtail Beachfront Restaurant is onsite, has top-quality food and a full menu for purchase. The house does not include a personal chef. • We do not charge extra cleaning fees. Every 3 days, staff will provide a complimentary cleaning and change of linnens. • Pets are located on the resort property, on the roads and at the beach. Do not bring additional pets to the house. • No smoking inside the house. No Fires. • Damages to the house are the responsibility of the guest. • Rental Payment needs to be paid in full before occupying the house. Acceptance: Every effort to correctly represent the property has been considered. Climate change, weather patterns, noise, plant growth, seasons and surroundings, create constant change. Opinions of the house vary from person to person and are completely subjective. If upon arrival and inspection, the guest finds the house different than represented, notification to the Host is requested within 24 hours. Every effort to correct issues will be made.
