Upstairs by a treehouse, this spacious apartment has an open ceiling to a kitchen (fully stocked), great room, and two bedrooms. The bathroom is enclosed. There is a a covered carport and access to more parking if needed. Due to the floor space and extra mattresses and bedding, there is room for more people to sleep besides the two queen beds. It is one block from main street in Blanding! 75 miles from Moab, Monument Valley, and even closer to many Indian ruins and sites! This upstairs apartment is spacious with 2 separate bedrooms that have ceilings open to the great room, 1 enclosed bathroom which has a big mirror and counter , a bath-shower, a closet with extra soaps and supplies, and a window that can let in fresh air. The great room includes a cupboard with games, a table and chairs, a fully stocked kitchen, a dishwasher and a bar with stools besides the wrap-around sofa and TV and comfortable old easy chair. There are windows to let in light and air and in warm weather there is a window air conditioner. *Note: The kitchen does have cups, bowls, plates, pots and pans and silverware and cooking utensils. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate and cold and cooked cereals are available for your use, as well as pancake mix and usually milk, eggs, and bread in the fridge and freezer. *Note: Guests will need to request for extra blow up mattresses or cots or a portacrib if needed. The complete apartment is accessible only from 3 sets of stairs. The gallery outside is open to browse if desired. Some things are for sale if there is a price listed. The front yard and picnic table is usually available as well; same with trampoline in the back. Garage is reserved for guests to park in. We enjoy meeting the guests and learning about them. If our schedules allow interaction and we are home, we will hopefully meet. We will not go up to the apartment unless necessary to allow for privacy. We are one block from Main Street where Pop’s Burritos, Subway, A & W are. The other eating places are on the highway coming into town from the north, Patio, the Steakhouse and there is fast food at convenient stores. The Edge of Cedars State Park is on 400 North and about 600 west. Guests are asked to park in the open garage that is on the side and towards the back of the house. There is extra parking on the curb close to the garage. This garage is closest to the 22 steps that go up to the suite. Pets: we don’t allow pets in the apartment. Our own cats and dogs are outside and we don’t allow them inside. Our suite is not handicap accessible, unfortunately
