The space Our house is located in the heart of the Grand Site of France Saint Guilhem - Vallée de l'Hérault, a few kilometers from Saint Guilhem-le-Désert (medieval city, one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France) and 35 km from Montpellier . The House : The first owners were architects: they built this house (160 m2) twenty years ago on the ruins of two old sheds, of which they kept the exposed stones for certain walls, which gives it a real cachet, although this or a recent house. Unlike most village houses in our region, it benefits from an exterior (a patio in front, another behind) where we like to enjoy sunny days; fully air-conditioned, bright, with beautiful volumes, on 3 levels, it has a beautiful living space opening onto the outside, 4 beautiful bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a shower room, 2 separate WCs. The icing on the cake: in the rear patio of the house, permanently shaded, there is a real swimming pool, with a teak terrace, small but very pleasant during the hot hours. Area : The area is very quiet, and the advantage of being in the heart of the village is that you will find all the shops and local services 5 mins away walk. The house is ideally located to discover the varied landscapes, the natural sites and the unique heritage of this region: between vineyards and scrubland, you are a few kilometers from the beach (supervised) of the legendary Pont du Diable, the Salagou lake and its red earth, the cirques of Mourèze and Navacelle, the caves of Clamouse and Les Demoiselles... Canoeing, walks in villages with a medieval past, tastings of wines from the Terrasses du Larzac, swimming in white water in the Hérault gorges, the Etang de Thau and its shells 45 minutes away... the activities are varied and for all tastes ! Guest access Travelers will have access to all of the accommodation and exteriors. Other things to note Our two cats, Plume and Lino, live here; they are soft and not very constraining; they come and go between the house and the outside, but the rooms are forbidden to them; in the evening, we put them outside for the night. The care concerning them is limited to checking that their water and kibble dispensers are well filled.
