Our cosy apartment with a view for two. Just relax and unwind: The open-plan living and dining area offers a cosy atmosphere for cooking and enjoying in the kitchen, looking into the fire of the cast-iron stove or reading a good book in the cosy reading bunk. With a far-reaching view of rocks and forests, you can dream of the next hikes in the large double bed under the roof. After long tours, your tired feet can recover under the starry sky in the warm hot tub or in the log sauna. The space Our "gute Stube" with its 45 m² is perfectly suited for singles, couples or a small family. The apartment which has been renovated according to building biology standards, is located in the very cosy cultural monument Umgebinde 1657, which was sustainably and ecologically reconstructed according to historical models by 2020. Guest access Our timber-framed pearl is located in Bad Schandau (Krippen), the entrance to the Saxon Switzerland National Park, approx. 40 km south-east of Dresden. Bad Schandau is a state-recognised Kneipp spa, a Mecca for hiking and wellness enthusiasts and, since the beginning of tourism, THE fashionable summer resort in Saxon Switzerland. Arrival by paddle steamer (Elbkai Bad Schandau), bicycle (Elbe Cycle Route, Krippen turn-off), train (Bad Schandau or Krippen station), car, bus (Alte Schule stop) - or simply on foot with a rucksack on your back. Getting to Krippen is easy, only leaving this little paradise on the Elbe will be hard. You park on our own parking area, e-cars charge there at four 22 kW points. Check-in is from 4 pm, contactless via a key safe or, if you prefer, in person with a cool welcome drink from the well in front of the house. Other things to note We have everything ready for you: bed linen, towels (normal, shower and sauna towel), firewood and kitchen consumables. Sauna use, cleaning, electricity and heating are included. On top comes the visitor's tax for the Gästekarte mobil: EUR 3.00 per person and day from 16 years, EUR 1.50 from 7 to 15 years, younger free. If you would like the hot tub heated, we charge EUR 25 for electricity and our hard-working caretaker.
